All of the sudden I heard soft knocking on the front door, this time the sound belonged to the reality but it still made me to jump out lightly as it was reminding me of the previous dream. I stood up and walked slowly to the door by cause being my still shaking body.

I opened the door only to see Enya with a big grin on her face. She was wearing a short leather jacket, her stomach being exposed, and dark grey skinny pants. I had to admire her army style boots for a while and her courage for going out in the cold with such thin clothing.

"What took you so long?" She rolled her eyes and showed me a clasp-knife."Remember this little guy? You forgot it at Excetra."

I stared at her and raised an eyebrow, it took me a short while to realise it was indeed my clasp-knife, though I couldn't recall taking it out at the coffeehouse.

"Thank you Enya, but why did you have to bring it to me at five o'clock in the morning?" I sighed deeply and welcomed her inside so I could lock the door.

"Since you just woke up... And a fresh day starts at five am!" I rubbed my face and silently invited her to take a seat anywhere in the house.

It was so awkward since I was dressed in green plaid shorts and an old and weird grey t-shirt, not to add that I still had my bed hair and pillow marks over my cheeks.

"How did you know that I'm awake?" She sat right on the floor in the middle of the living room.

"My brother told me that your mind was up and ready. I was close by anyways so I decided to pay you a visit and take you out for a walk." I squinted at her and raised my hand in confusion.

"What makes you think that I will go for a walk when it's pitch black outside."

She pointed to herself and smirked. "I will force you in a way or another so you'd better get dressed boy."

I sighed again in frustration while rubbing my nape which  was equivocally hurting. I tried to ignore the fact that it could somehow have a connection with the nightmare. In my own defeat I went back into my room in order to get dressed well in some warm sweater and thicker jeans. Since I had the occasion to go to the bathroom I washed my teeth and face as well.

When I was done I went back into the living room only to see Enya looking around through a cabinet of mine, so I coughed loudly. The sound made her close it and giggle in a guilty way.

"Where are we going more exactly?" I went to the hallway and put on my everyday black coat.

"Well you wanted to know more about this island, right?" I let her leave the house so I could lock it.

She was right, I did want to know a lot more about the island, but I wasn't sure at the same time if a walk in the dark would help me in any way.

"Don't worry, we'll just admire the place and the next sunset." It didn't sound that bad so I followed her out of the block still holding my nape and rubbing it occasionally.

We were heading to the centre, our way being lit by infrequent lamp posts. Enya looked straight ahead yet asked me. "What's wrong with your nape? You keep rubbing it." Was it that frequent or obvious?

"I am not sure myself, I had this crazy nightmare last night and woke up with this pain." She shrugged and so did I.

As we reached the other edge of the centre there were several streets and buildings in view. Some sort of a vintage museum, a building that had potential in being my future college and an unlit street that went up to what seemed to look like a hill....When my eyes hit that view Enya said.

"We are going that way!"

"There's no way we're going there. There is not a single lamp post and it is still really dark.." I mumbled as she looked at me with her big grin. She let her fingers flame into a shard shaped light which illuminated our surroundings.

While walking up the hill it was unavoidable to remark the beauty of this particular place. It had a full view to the moon which probably looked even better at the beginning of a night. The hill was surrounded by the typical enormous trees and unique plants.

I walked close by Enya so I could be as close as possible to the light and warmth of the flame. She looked at me and smiled. "Isn't it beautiful?" I nodded while gaping everywhere.

"The island is really beautiful, but this place is.. peculiar."

As we reached the highest point the scenery took me unprepared. Down the other side of the hill was a beautiful lake that was starting to shine from the following sunset.

"This is our haven. The place where the sinners spend their time and are sure to find someone in case they are in  need of help or advice." She spinned around like a child and then laid with her back on the grassy slopes which covered the land. I was standing up in front of her, as she was facing away from the lake.

"All the things you are telling me.. " Suddenly my nape started itching really bad so I stopped and rubbed it hard, I inhaled deeply and tried to continue.. "Am I a sinner?"

"Well I do not know. This is my nature so I'm going to tell you what I know the most about. I don't recall the blessed giving you any warm welcome anyways." She stood up and turned with her back at me so she could catch the glimpse of the dazzling sunset as well.

As I felt watched I turned my head only to see a guy leaning on a tree with his crossed arms staring directly at me. I was as mesmerized as I was freaked out. It was the same guy who had kept staring at me continuously for hours at the coffeehouse. He was different than the other people..

He had a darker skin colour on which fell long and thick black hair. He had really expressive brown eyes and several tattoos on his face, arms and neck, they all seemed tribal to me. The guy was shirtless and had some large beige pants and numerous belts attached to it. He looked somehow outlandish.

I turned my head to Enya as I wasn't aware if the guy wanted my bad or not, like others expressed.

"Um...Enya, there's someone..."

We both turned our heads back to the forest but the guy wasn't there anymore. She raised an eyebrow and I said in my defense. " There was a guy I swear!"

She giggled loudly. "Things like this are normal here, people come and go, even at the speed of light."

"I guess... you know better than me."

I exhaled in relief and rubbed my bangs away from my face and down on my head.

"By the way Shane, you should tell me more about yourself , it is only fair that way."
