(Flashback) Red's POV

"I'm going," Classic said venomously as I tried (but failed) to make him see reason. I noticed That his eyes had gained this look of malice that didn't suit him at all. Grabbing his keys, he made a beeline for the door but stopped when I practically threw myself at him.

"Classic, look I'm sorry! Okay? Maybe we could-"

"F off Red," he muttered, flipping me off.

I winced and he took this opportunity to untangle himself from me. And just like that, he was gone, taking all my new found happiness and contentment with him.

(Some time later)

I'm honestly not sure how long I sat there but, all I know is that it felt like an eternity. Maybe I thought that If I stayed there long enough, the darkness would consume me and I'd wake up next to Classic.

....Classic.

"I trusted you..." I muttered through clenched teeth. It was barely audible.
"You were supposed to be different, and what did you do?"

Then something inside me snapped.

"YOU FEED ME TO THE F-ING LIONS! YOU...YOU.." a quiet tapping on the window caused me to stop abruptly. I looked over angrily to see a small furry face squished against the glass.

"YOU! G-get lost!" I stuttered.

Stuttering? REALLY red. You truly have gone soft.

Ignoring the voices, I made my way to the window and opened it a fraction. "What do you want?"

"Woof!"

"I honestly don't know what I was expecting." I muttered.
I was just about to go sit down again, when I heard a quiet whimper from behind me. Sighing, I turned around again to see the annoying dog quite obviously signalling me to come over with it's paw. Eyes widening, I walked back over to it.
"Do you want me t0, follow you?"

It nodded.

"Okay then," I muttered hoisting myself over the window sill and out into the chilly Snowdin air. I had been following it for a while when I began to lose hope.

Why was I even following a dog in the fist place? It's not like it can-"

Suddenly, the sky erupted into a a rainbow of colours causing me to jump back.

"How?? What?! Just-nothing going my way today!" I exclaimed sharply.

I looked back at the annoying dog and swear I saw him wink. "Alright I'm going! I'm going."

And while I was running I could hear the faintest "took you long enough," dying away on the wind.

Classic's POV

It was like I was engulfed in a bone-crushing hug as I struggled against the vines.

Now the human really was gonna die.

I think I must of tuned out most of the things flowey was saying In my fatigue as the loud "thump!" Took me by surprise.

Eyes widening, I realised The human's soul was trapped in some sort of death box and I couldn't do anything about it.

Could I?

I watched in horror as Flowey pummelled the human mercilessly. He was just about to deal the killing blow when-

Something stopped him.

"Not another stupid fireball!" Flowey screamed.

"I will not lose another one of my children," said Toriel weakly yet firmly.

One by one, we all began to fight back. We did this until what seemed to be all the monsters in the underground were cheering the human on.

"You can do it human!"
"We believe in you!"
"Fight back!"
"I cAn'T bElIeVe YoUr AlL sO sTuPiD!"

We all stopped.

"What was that?" Toriel spoke up again, we all new something was up.

"AlL oF yOuR sOuLs ArE mInE!!!!"

Then it all. Went. Black.

Red's POV

I sprinted feverishly towards the barrier, unsure of what I'd see when I got there. And, oh boy. Was this a sight for sore eyes. Huge stars rained down on New home causing destruction and disarray at every turn, only for it to reset and do it all over again. The barrier was a mess of colour and light and-

No.

I stared at the person hovering in the distance. Correction! Goat person. Prince Asriel?

Feeling extremely confused, I turned my attention to the even more distressing thing behind him. Monsters. All of them, standing there brainwashed and oblivious. Including....

....Classic.

I wanted to run up to him. To hug the evil out of him and hold him in my arms. But before I could the human appeared and did something utterly unthinkable.

They spoke.

"Red! Asriel has brainwashed all the monsters! Why hasn't if worked on you?!"

"U-um I-I don't-"

"OF COURSE!" Screamed the human suddenly, almost looking disappointed in them self.
.

"What?"

"Your not from here are you? Meaning your not programming into the code so it doesn't work on you!"

"I guess?"

"This is great!" They exclaimed " you can help me save them!"

"I can?!"

"YES!"

"THEN WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?!"

Perking up instantly, I began speed walking in Classic's direction. I was going to save him.

How?

With a little hope, dreams....

....and pixie dust.

Wow! I actually made a long chapter for once! Anyway! I hope you enjoyed it, and as always I'll see you guys....NEXT TIME!
