"How's my favorite Jew?" I asked walking into Jack's apartment, letting out a laugh.

"Am I the only Jew you know?" I heard his voice call from his room.

"Yes. But you're still my favorite." I said, walking into his room. He only had on a pair of briefs and there was water dripping from his hair. "Definitely my favorite," I said, looking him up and down.

"What are you doing here?" Jack asked as I sat myself down on his bed. He started getting dressed while I started talking.

"I was just in the neighborhood, thought I'd stop by and say hi," I told him and he rolled his eyes. "I don't know, I was bored so I came over here. Where are you going?"

"I'm going to do music stuff with Jack," he told me and I groaned.

"Don't leave me," I jokingly begged.

"Sorry, you're on your own."

Jack put his hands on my waist and leaned down to kiss me.

"Can't you be a little late?" I asked. "It's not like they can do whatever you're going to do without you."

"Nope," Jack said, moving away from me.

"Just remember this moment next time you want to have sex with me," I said, trying to act menacing.

"I'm so scared."

"You should be," I said, walking to the door. Jack walked over to me and leaned down to kiss me again. "Yeet," I said, moving out of the kiss just before it happened.

"I've taught you too well," Jack said, laughed.

"Yeah you have," I said and walked out the door.

There was a knock on the door. I knew it was Jack so I yelled to tell them that the door was unlocked.

"You're finally back," I sighed with relief. He sat down on the couch next to me and I immediately straddled his lap.

"Nope," he said and pushed me off. I stared at him, my jaw hanging open.

"I thought I was the one who was supposed to be holding a grudge," I said in false shock.

"I'm not holding a grudge, I came here to ask you something," Jack said.

"Okay," I said, but it was more of a question.

"Jack and I are going back to Nebraska soon, wanna come with?" he asked.

I shook my head. "Uh uh."

"Why not?"

"I don't want to get Ebola," I said smiling, calling my own bluff.

"There isn't Ebola in Omaha."

"Yes there was. There was a person treated for it in Omaha, Nebraska."

"One whole person. What's the real reason?"

"I don't want to meet your family," I told him, hesitantly

"Thanks," he said in false pain.

"Let me rephrase. I don't want to meet your family yet," I clarified.

"I met your parents before we even started dating," Jack pointed out.

"That's because someone wouldn't talk to me before I left."

"So I'm an idiot. But please come with us," he begged.

"I'm going to sit this one out. Maybe next time."

"Babe, please. I really want you to come."

"Why is this so important to you?"

"Because I love you and I want you to meet my family."

"I don't want to. Not yet," I told him.

"Okay," Jack said and put his arms around me as if the conversation had never happened. Which seemed odd to me but I wasn't going to question it right now.

"Come with me," Jack said, grabbing my hands and pulling me up.

"Where are we going?" I questioned. I really didn't like when Jack and I played this game, which we played often.

"You'll find out when we get there. Just come on." Jack and I left my apartment and walked to his Jeep.

"Are you going to expose me to Ebola?" I asked.

"I wasn't planning on it," Jack answered, laughter evident in his voice.

We drove down the street and the more we drove the less I recognized anything, until we started getting farther away from town. We passed the place where Jack and I gone a few months ago and I couldn't help but smile.

"Please tell me where we're going," I begged. "Even if you told me and I didn't want to go, I can't leave now, unless I jump out of a moving vehicle."

"Remember Nash?" he asked.

"Who?" I said, my mind going completely blank.

"Brown hair, blue eyes," Jack said.

"Bright blue?" I questioned.

"Yeah."

"Sort of."

"We're going to his house," he said.

"Why am I coming?" I questioned.

"Because I want you to hang out with my friends," he said.

"Jack," I said, turning to face him.

"Brooklyn," he answered, looking at me for a few seconds before turning back and facing the road.

"You're pushing your luck at the moment," I told him coldly.

"It'll be fun. I promise," Jack informed me and grabbed my hand in his.

To my surprise, I actually did have fun at Nash's, even though everyone there, except Jack and Jack, I had met one time or less.

"You don't want to leave do you?" Nash asked, as Jack and I were about to leave.

"Well I mean, I did have more fun than I thought I would, so," I shrugged.

"Alright, I'll see you later man," Jack said as we walked out the door.

Jack and I climbed into his Jeep and he started it.

"Was it really that bad?" Jack asked.

I let out a big sigh. "No. I actually had a lot of fun."

"Don't sound so excited," Jack said, a smile forming at the corner of his mouth.

"Has anyone ever told you that you look adorable when you smile?" I asked, a smile on my lips now.

"Where did that come from?" Jack asked, smiling even more now.

"I just thought I should tell you."

Jack took my hand in his again, except this time, he brought my hand up and pressed it against his lips. "I think you're adorable no matter what you're doing."

"You just had to 1-up me didn't you?" I asked laughing.

"I wasn't 1-uping you, I was simply telling the truth."

"You were simply being a jerk and a gentlemen at the same time."

"One of my many talents," Jack smiled at me.
