It had been a few days since I had 'seen' Danny and since I had taken the morning after pill. I really hoped it worked because I didn't want to go with my next option.

I stood in a line at the drug store holding a pregnancy test. I was getting dirty looks from older people but I didn't care, it's not like I chose to be in this situation. It was finally my turn to pay and I sat down the test at the counter.

"Good afternoon," the much too peppy woman working said.

"Good afternon," I repeated, less peppy. She scanned the test and took my money.

"Good luck," she said, handing me the bag.

"Thanks. I need all the luck I can get," I said, and walked away.

I got into my Jeep and started driving back to my apartment.

"What are you doing?" Jack Gilinsky's voice asked as I was unlocking the door.

"I'm going home," I said. "Do you have to stalk me?"

"No. I just happen to leave when you come back," he shrugged. "So what are you doing? What's in the bag?"

"If you must know, it's a pregnancy test," I told him.

"I thought you had it covered."

"It's just to make sure I don't have to go with Plan B."

"What's Plan B?" he asked.

"Didn't you say you had somewhere to go?" he stayed looking at me and I sighed. "Just think about it and you'll figure it out."

"Do you mean an abortion?" he asked.

"Yes, Jack, an abortion."

For once he didn't say anything, he just nodded. "I know what I'm doing, Jack. I promise." And with that I went into my apartment.

I walked to the bathroom and opened the box to the test. I pulled my shorts down and sat on the toilet. I took a deep breath and peed on the test.

It was the longest 5 minutes of my life waiting for the results. I had peed on two test sticks, just to be sure. I walked through the apartment scrolling through my Twitter feed for the five minutes. When the clock told me five minutes was up I sprinted to the bathroom and grabbed them.

I gasped when I saw the tests. They were both negative. I could cry tears of joy right now. I started jumping up and down. I threw the tests away and sat down on the couch. The joy of not being pregnant was instantly shattered by my thoughts.

What was Danny going to now? After a while he would figure it out that I'm not pregnant. Would he rape me again? And what if the police never find him? He's good at hiding in the shadows.

My phone started ringing and I was brought back to life. The caller ID said Mackenzie.

"Yes?" I asked, when I answered. I was too busy freaking out to hang out with Mackenzie at the moment.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"Nothing."

"I can tell you're lying."

"Come to my apartment and I'll tell you." Maybe she would know what to do.

"I'm outside, actually."

"I'm going to tell you something and you're probably not going to believe me," Mackenzie told me as I let her in.

"Okay?"

"I know about Danny. I always have. I'm the one who called the police when we were 16. I also might have accidently told him where you lived," she said, talking so fast I could barely hear her.
