I woke up later that night, still wrapped tightly in Jack's arms and almost started crying again. I sniffed back my tears, but that was enough to wake Jack up. I felt his arms tighten around me and he pulled me even closer than we already were.
"What's wrong baby?" Jack's voice was rough since he had just woken up.
"Nothing. I'm fine."
"That's a lie. I heard you crying. Is it still because of me earlier?" worry flooded his voice and his face. I rolled over so that I was looking at him.
"No. It's not because of that."
"Then what's wrong?"
"I got to fall in love with someone sweet and caring and you got stuck with me."
"You're sweet and caring too. That's part of why I love you." Jack kissed my forehead.
"Maybe compared to how I was a few months ago."
"How you acted a few months ago doesn't matter to me anymore. Only how you act now."
"See there you go again, being sweet."
"Baby, stop treating yourself like this. I love you and you should love yourself too."
I nodded. "I love you, too."
We stopped talking for a while, until I realized Jack was leaving in just two days.
"Jack," I whispered to see if he was asleep yet or not. He moaned in response. "You know how you're going to Omaha in a couple days?"
"Yeah," Jack opened his eyes, looking at me expectantly.
"Can I go with you?" His face lit up a little and he smiled.
"Yeah."
I nodded content and finally closed my eyes once again.

I woke up again only this time Jack was missing from his bed. I stood up and felt my phone still in my pocket from last night and pulled it out. There was a message from Jack and I slid the screen and unlocked it.
Hey baby. I'm sorry I had to leave but I have buisness to do before we leave tomorrow. I love you.
I smiled and put the phone back in my sweatpants pocket and walked out of his room. The apartment was way too quiet which is how I knew that no one was home. I left the apartment and walked the few feet into mine.

"Are you sure you want to go to Omaha?" Jack asked later that day as we laid in my bed.
"Yeah."
"Just a few days ago you were completley against everything Nebraska, other than the college mascot."
"I changed my mind," I informed him.
"What made you change your mind?"
"I decided that I want to meet your family."
"Okay," Jack said simply.
"That's it? I don't have to come up with some essay as to why I changed my mind?"
"I've never made you explain yourself."
"You did when I didn't want to go to Omaha."
"Touche."
I my stomach growled loudly and Jack and I laughed. "Hungry?" he asked.
"Maybe a little bit."
"Let's go get food because I'm hungry too." Jack stood up and I held my hands out to him. He took them and pulled me up.

We walked into the restaurant and sat down. Our waiter walked over to us and as soon as I saw him I felt uneasy. I had hooked up with this guy once before Jack and I started dating. But maybe he wouldn't remember me.
But of course I had no such luck. "Brooklyn?"
"Who's Brooklyn?" I tried my best to look confused, like I didn't know who he was talking about.
"Are you Brooklyn Hart?"
"No. Sorry."
I looked over at Jack and he was giving me a look. I ran my hand through my hair and tried to smile at him. The guy took our order and walked away.
"Who was that?" Jack's voice was very annoyed and so was his face.
"No one important," I said, waving my hand in the air.
"If he wasn't important then why didn't you tell him you were Brooklyn?"
"Please Jack. We just had a fight last night."
"I'm not going to fight with you. I just want to know who that is."
"SomeoneIhookedupwith," I said as quickly as possible.
"Wait, you have sex with him?"
I hesitated. "Yeah."
Everytime the guy would come back he kept looking at me, probably knowing that I was lying about not being myself each time he did come out Jack's jealousy looked like it was about to take over and he was going to explod, but I could tell he was trying his best to keep his cool, which I was thankful for.
Once right before we were about to leave, Jack grabbed my hand when he came back out and the guy had a sad look in his eyes, as if he was just now realizing that after the few months of not seeing me that he had a chance of getting with me again.
"What was that?" I asked when he left.
"Just letting him know that you're mine know."

We walked back into my room and no sooner than the door was shut Jack had pressed me against the door and had his lips pressed to mine and his hands were aimlessly roaming my body.
"Jack," I gasped when he pulled away for a few seconds. "What are you doing?"
"I'm letting you know that you're mine," he said and put his lips on mine again, shutting me up. I moaned against his lips and he moved from my lips to my neck. I already knew that he was mine but I didn't mind him proving it to me.

Hey guys! Thanks for reading!
The Walking Dead comes back on Sunday and my birthday is Monday, I'm so ready for this weekend.
Also, I was thinking of writing a book of short imagines about the Omaha boys and posting during the weekdays and these books during the weekend when I have more time. What do you think?
Anyway, thanks again.
