Why did he have to ask such a question. I wasn't lying when I said I was tired, I really am. I feel bad I'm keeping something from Harry but by telling him I would have to confess something bigger.
I laid on my bed and stared up at the ceiling and pulled my sleeves up. My black nail vanished fingers traced over the scars all the way up my wrists. Only once or twice have I ever not worn sleeved clothing.
I was ashamed.
I was scared that if Harry knew he wouldn't want to be my friend anymore. And I needed him. But he may think my problems are to much of a burden to carry.

It was such a relief to be free of charges but I couldn't help the uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Maybe I was just tired or hungry.
When we got home i decided I would take a shower. I past my mum and smiled at her she was as happy about the result as i was .

"Yes, this isn't his first time with having charges pressed against him," My head poked out of the door as I heard her speaking to someone on the phone. Was she talking about me?
I crept down the hallway and stopped at the top of the stairs as she was sitting at the bottom.
She sighed and put the phone on loud speaker leaning on the steps.
"Don't worry he's in the shower, i can still hear the water running," She was talking about me, it was a good thing I kept the water running.
"Well does he not know what happened the first time?" The man on the phone said.
"I give him medicine in his meals which stop him from remembering. He has no idea!"
"Does the girl remember him?"
"I'd spoken to her and asked her to pretend that she didn't remember him for both his and her sake. She agreed of course!"
"Are you ever going to tell him about when he went in the first time?"
"When he went to prison? No never!" Her voice was sad and i was growing scared.
