(Y/N): *in thought* Just when I thought things couldn't be any weirder, we ended up in the middle of nowhere surrounded by dead trees. Guess this is the other wold that dad was talking about... Or maybe just a small part of it. Who knows? The sooner I get off this bus the better!

You sighed to yourself as the brown haired boy quickly exited the bus and you nearly followed behind until the door closed. This confused you until the bus driver laughed as he quickly floor the gas pedal to leave the brown haired boy at the bus stop. Meanwhile, you fell back on your rear end from the sudden launch of the vehicle and quickly removed your headphones.

(Y/N): Hey, what the hell?!

Bus Driver: Sorry, kiddo force of habit. Either way... Your stop is right over here.

The driver quickly stepped on the brakes and watched as you stumbled forward from your downed position. This annoyed you before standing from your spot and began to glare at the glowing eyed man.

Bus Driver: Careful sonny boy. Wouldn't want to tell your dad, ol' Frederick, that I left his son in the middle of nowhere...

(Y/N): Huh? You knew my dad?!

Bus Driver: Yup, your father was a Devil Hunter before he eventually settled down. He helped us with a few jobs that required the expertise of an experienced Hunter. Anyways... You'd best get going, I'm sure some "special" is waiting for you right about now... Just let me know if you have any questions about your "awakening".

(Y/N): R-right... Um, see ya!

You immediately grabbed your luggage and walked out of the bus in quite the hurry. Looking away from the bus, you were met with a large set of buildings that barely resembled a school.

Nekonome: Hello everyone and welcome to youkai academy! I am your homeroom teacher Shizuka Nekonome!

Your right eye twitched as the hairstyle of the teacher reminded you as a cat. In fact, you were already convinced that the homeroom teacher's "cat ears" were her actual ears.

Nekonome: I think you already know this but this is a school built for the sake of monters to attend!

(Y/N): *in thought* Well I'll be damned... What's up with guy freaking out? Am I the only one seeing this?

Indeed, it seemed you were the only one watching the brown haired teen shaking in his desk while everyone else paid their attention towards the teacher's speech. You sighed before slowly shutting your eyes to ignore everything else in the room in order to pass the time. At the same time, a pair of black and red eyes stared at you from across the room as she kept her piercing gaze towards your direction.

???: I see...

???: TSUKUNE!!! I'M SO GLAD WE'RE IN THE SAME CLASS!!

The mysterious girl witg red eyes snapped out of her thoughts as she looked at the strange occurrence. Meanwhile, you opened your eyes and watched as a girl with pink hair tackled the dame panicking teen to the floor

(Y/N): Oh hey, you're the same guy on the bus.

He was able to make your words only for them to be quickly cut off from the sounds of envious boys in the class.

???: What the hell is that scrawny kid doing with a beautiful girl like that?!

???: Why isn't she hugging me?!?!

(Y/N): *in thought* Quite the first impression... Man these people are noisy...
