Just close your eyes, there's no where to run

This will be the very last time, you see the sun

The gentle breeze, flowing through your fur

This will be the last time, that you ever purr

The whispers, the chuckles, come to an end

Because they see me, with my claws in your head

At first you might have thought

that this was a game

But believe me, it's not, because there's nothing to gain

All I bring, is death and pain

Hush now little one, just look at the sky

It's bright and blue, and oh so wide

Don't look at the blood, spilling from your throat

Don't listen to them, as they laugh and gloat

I'm sorry that this is a wound I can't mend

But there's prices to pay, in the end

This world, its broken

No words left to be spoken

Everyone in my path I've slain,

All I bring, is death and pain

Coldrose's blood turned to ice. "I- I was just-" Coldrose searched for an excuse, but it was no use.

"Save it, traitor!" Berryleaf hissed, lunging forward. Her haunches got stuck in the small crevice and the she-cat fell down with a thump. Coldrose seized her chance, sprinting away into the forest. It seemed as if every bramble tore at her fur, dragging her down, trying to keep her caged in this nightmare. She heard Berryleaf's paws thrumming after her. Thank StarClan she won't have enough breath to yowl a warning! Coldrose was already panting. These kits are weighing me down! Then there was a blood curdling yowl, and Berryleaf exploded from the undergrowth.

Coldrose hissed, backing up against a holly bush, feeling it's sharp leaves stabbing her skin under her thin fur. Berryleaf hissed, and so did Coldrose, feeling her motherly instinct to protect her kits kick in. The two she-cat's circled each other, eyes narrowed, ears flattened, and teeth bared. Normally, Coldrose could match any cat. She was good at out-maneuvering her opponent, with her knack for predicting where they'll strike next, and using her skinny body to slip around them and move quickly. On top of that were her Dark Forest skills. But now, her kits were weighing her down, which would make her slower. And Berryleaf has been training in the Dark Forest, too, she's a bit bulkier than me, and she's not carrying kits!

Berryleaf sprang, and Coldrose quickly rolled away. Unfortunately Berryleaf had predicted this and whipped around, tackling Coldrose. Coldrose hissed, squirming out from under her. Berryleaf managed to only rip out a few clawfuls of fur. I won't be able to win this if I just play defensive. Berryleaf will just tire me out. Coldrose sprang with a yowl, running at her head on. Berryleaf darted her paw out in an attempt to hook her legs around Coldrose's, but instead Coldrose had aimed for behind Berryleaf, so she landed behind the she-cat. She managed to spin around on one foot without losing her balance, plunging her fangs into Berryleaf's backside.

Berryleaf screeched in pain, turning around and digging her own teeth into Coldrose's ears. Coldrose yowled in pain through her grip, but just dug deeper into Berryleaf's backside, feeling wet blood on her tongue. Berryleaf gave in first, releasing Coldrose and kicking her in the face. Coldrose was forced to let go. She shook her burning ears, sending drops of blood flying. I don't want this trickling into my eyes. Berryleaf reared up, and Coldrose reared up to meet her. The two-cat's clashed, staggering on their hind legs. Realizing Berryleaf's bulk would over power her any second, Coldrose dropped to the ground and dived under her legs, smacking Berryleaf's left leg. Berryleaf's legs buckled and she fell. Coldrose sprang on top of her, biting down on her neck. I have to kill her. If I don't, she'll definitely kill me.
