I squirm awake lying in rays of sunshine, and I do not know which planet I am on. As I open my eyes they meet the ceiling and travel to the window on my left none of which I recognize.

That's when I feel the bed beneath me is moving and the opposite of still and lifeless.

When I cast my eyes upon him all I first see is his messy brown hair sticking out over the top of the duvet. His breathing is calm beneath me, chest heaving up and down, rocking me back and forth like a mother rocking her baby to sleep.

I can't sleep though because last night floods back into me. Last night was so... new, so not me, so different. Whether I liked it or not I can't tell. And I really, really can't sleep.
