Appearance: Akira is quite normal in appearance, as nothing really makes her stand out. Her dark brown hair falls straight down to her shoulders, and her dark brown eyes only add to her uninteresting appearance. She stands at a regular height of 5'5'', with fair skin that seems to be quite even, and a heart-shaped face. She doesn't have much muscle on her, and is quite average in weight, but she gets enough exercise, in her opinion, chasing her younger sister around.

Personality: Akira is quite watchful. Not afraid to speak her mind or to tell others off, she is fiercely defensive of her morals and family. She has a keen eye for patterns and she barely has time to socialize with those who are too narrow-minded for her taste. She is feisty yet caring, and will always protect those she loves. Akira does love being able to lead over her sister and has a knack at being able to be empathetic when needed. Level-headed most times, however when someone angers her Akira is often known to throw away all sense of judgment, save for minding most of her language when her sister is near her, resorting to insults that don't seem like insults at first.

Background: Akira grew up happy and loved, and her parents, Nicolai and Mai Scarlet, were happily married until her younger sister Yukiko was three (currently four), when they divorced. They are still good friends and Akira and Yukiko are graced with the benefit of getting to see their father every other weekend (and even sometimes their father visits them for a day!). Mai has since started dating, and though Mai won't admit it, she knows that her girlfriend Daphne is the one for her. Therefore, Yukiko and Akira call their mother Momma or Mom, and Daphne Mama or Mum.

The picture perfect family, Akira loves all of her parents with all her heart. Aside from that, Akira has had a normal upbringing. She attended the local public school and achieved average grades, and has a couple of close friends. While she is teased occasionally for both her ethnicity and parents, Akira doesn't mind, instead choosing to insult them back, which Daphne doesn't necessarily approve (but Mai does, but no one tell Daphne that).

Fears: Heights, spiders, falling. She's also quite afraid that her sister will get lost or into trouble.

Other: She had brought her sister to the carnival alone today, letting her parents have a day of rest.
