Callisto and Sayuri sit around the carnival, looking at the damage caused from last night. When Atilius had said that the fears would come true, they didn't know how brutal they were going to be. In fact, many people perished overnight: Leila Capri, Sky Jackson, Jenna Lei, Keegan Drake, Akira Scarlet, Mike Naklasi, Rosalie Annalise McKnight and Anastasia Reznikov all passed away overnight.
Some competitors stand up and face the mess they've seen unravel in front of them; others cry and whimper in corners. Atilius roams around the park, observing the number of attractions around him. He has an idea for a little game.
As he strides over to the microphone, he smiles at his tired friends and pushes them aside; Atilius needs his stardom. It's all okay for Callisto anyway - he goes off to attend to a poor Oris. Atilius knows exactly where Callisto is going and decides that it's time to use the staff member to their advantage.
"Good morning, tributes!" Atilius beams a smile; his teeth illuminate the area more than the sun. "We have a fun little task for you. You're going to be assigned water guns. Except what do we put in those guns? Acid, of course!"
Sayuri smirks and pushes her friend out of the way, fed up of listening to the posh man talk. "We have a fun little guest arriving shortly - his name is Oris and he is very special to us." Sayuri decides that the talking isn't that much fun and hads the spotlight over to her blonde friend.
"Yes, you're going to be forced onto certain attractions, and you're going to have to deal with the nausea and horrible feelings as you go around and around without stopping," Atilius smiles. "You have one task: super soak Oris and his friends with your acid and you can get off of the ride!"
And it's as simple as that.
Except Atilius plans to super soak the tributes too - with a much stronger acid.
~~~
Welcome to Task Three everyone! Congratulations to Hal Davis and Maxine Carlos for surviving the votes!
TASK:
As said above, Oris and his friends have been set up to run around on the ground floor. Why do they agree to do so? They're drugged, unresponsive.
You have to go around and around in circles on your ride and attempt to squirt the drugged workers. It's that simple. However, all of the rides have been... modified. The way they work has been altered and now you're going to hate every attraction you encounter.
The task must end with you getting off of your attraction - you can be first or last to burn one of the officers, it's up to you.
Atilius, Callisto and Sayuri will be running around with a much stronger acid in their water guns - or acid guns, whatever. I want you to be hit by the acid at some point, and I want you to see one of the tributes get hit by the acid too.
KILLS:
For this task, I'd like it if you were to kill two people. Whether you kill them both in the entry, ballot them both or do a mixture, I'd like you to kill two people and I'd like you to send their names with your entry - over PM or email is fine.
WORD LIMIT:
None. Have fun - again, be reasonable: no ten word entries and no ten thousand word entries.
SPONSORSHIP:
The special sponsored tribute for this round is: Morgan Griffin.
The sponsored tributes get an extra ballot and one kill taken off of their total again.
BONUS POINTS:
First entry [+1]
Best entry [+3]
Best reaction to the acidic burn [+2]
DEADLINE:
10pm BST, Wednesday, 15th October. Unfortunately, no extensions will be given out unless there's an extreme case - such as someone has been hospitalised or something.
THE RIDES:
The rides open are as followed:
A roller coaster
A bumper car track
A ferris wheel
A drop tower
A pendulum (one of those big swinging things)
A swing ride
Every ride has been altered and I want this to be evident in the entries. Whether things are breaking or the speed has been changed, I don't mind - as long as you end up feeling nauseous.
Any questions, just ask. My email is ElfOfResilience@gmail.com to anyone who has forgotten.
