Sayuri cackles into the microphone as the confused thirty captured civilians try to work out what's going on. Some are barely old enough for school; some are on their deathbeds. "Good evening, competitors," Sayuri laughs, her eyes glistening with nothing but pure evilness. "Congratulations! You've been selected to play a little game."
"A game known as death," Callisto laughs, joining his female friend in the booth. "For now, we're going to give you fifteen minutes to run, make alliances, and find a hiding spot. Sound good?"
"That's all for now. Something a little bit easy to start these games off. Don't worry yet; the worst is yet to come..." Sayuri smirks before turning off the microphone and looking at her genius friends.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Surfside Valley Carnival! I know that intro was short, but it gets better throughout the games.
TASK:
For this task, you have fifteen minutes to find an alliance and some kind of hiding spot. Whether you choose to hide inside of a bumper car, the operating chair for the merry-go-round or the hot-dog stand, the only place you cannot go is into the broken funhouse.
After the hiding hour is up, the three gamemakers are going to come and find you. It's like a game of hide and seek. You must be the last one to be found by a gamemaker of your choice, and the gamemakers must find everyone.
SPONSORSHIP:
There will be ten sponsored tributes (there are thirty of you), for the lovely fathomthestars_ and Emlouisaxo have been specially selected to be my sponsors and will each sponsor two; each gamemaker will sponsor two tributes too.
KILLS:
There will be no kills this round, however, brutality from the gamemakers towards tributes other than yourself is allowed. You're the last one to be found because you're the best at blending into the carnival.
WORD LIMIT:
At least 500 words. There is no set maximum, however, please don't write a ten page entry - that's a little bit too far.
DEADLINE:
Your deadline is October 1st, 10pm BST.
My email is ElfOfResilience@gmail.com and if you have any questions, please PM me.
