As she was about to get up I gently grabbed her shoulders "Please...stay, you are injured and... I would like a bit of company" I said with a tinge of loneliness.
"I guess I could stay...Oh! I forgot to ask," she said a bit surprised with herself "ask what?" I replied "your name" she added.
Great, I forgot all about my new name, ummm what shall I call myself, aha!! Phoenix an amazing name...I think. "umm my name is phoenix from the Kingdom of vale” “though I actually live at the bottom in a used to be peaceful village" I muttered.
"Used to be peaceful village?" she said confused "what do you mean?”
"Well...my village chased me away and now I’m here so...yeah" I almost started crying but I held back my tears.
She looked at me with concerned eyes "chased you...why would they do that, you haven't done anything bad...have you?" she asked with worry.
"Ummm no, I mean maybe but I wouldn't know, but they were persuaded to chase me away." I said with a hint of anger.
"By who?" she asked
"The people we just fought earlier"
"You mean... the White Fang" she grimaced as she said it
"The what?" I said confusedly
"The White Fang, they are a group of animals who just want to have fun by killing, stealing and other crimes" she said with disgust.
"Well we kind of already got that they are animals, I mean they attacked you for no good reason" I said annoyed
"No... They are literal animals, like they have ears, tails, claws and other stuff." she looked at me with serious eyes.
I was wide eyed "but those guys didn’t have ears or even claws!"
"They were hiding them or else it would attract unwanted attention and I think in our situation they didn't want us to know"
"How do you know so much about them?" I asked curiously
"Ummm I...my dad encountered many of them he also worked with them, but he quit after he knew what they were planning, he then decided to become a hunter" she said with sorrow in her eyes.
"So, he went to hunt deer and stuff?" I said
"Nope not that kind of hunter the other kind."
"Other kind?" I was dumb-founded
"Yeah you know the ones who protect the world and stuff from the Grimm" she said
"I don’t understand a single thing you’re saying! Grimm, hunters what is going on!!" I said about to burst.
"You’re kidding...right?" she looked at my face and I clearly wasn't joking "you really don’t know what they are do you?"
"Nope" I said simply
"Wow... your parents haven’t told you anything have they?"
I froze I didn’t like talking about my parents it just brings back bad memories.
"I am sorry I shouldn't have said that" she said apologetically.
"No, it’s okay I just don’t like talking about my family"
"I know we have just met and don’t know each other well but you can talk to me really." her voice was full of compassion.
"really...you won't leave me or anything?" I looked at her with sad eye's
"No of course not, why would I?"
"If that’s the case, then I guess I could talk it might help I also have amnesia, so this is based on what my sister told me, I was almost five when we travelled to new village and as you can see I have silver eyes and I got it from my mother her name was..." my voice trailed off.
"What’s wrong?" she said worried.
