"Don't be so negative...I am sure there is something I can do to change your mind..."
A dark hand emerges from the dark, cloak-like shroud. It slowly begins to trail down my neck. My expression grows more disgusted.
"I know... deep down... I can help you truly smile..."
The hand trails down further, hovering over my chest, then my stomach, next my leg. Another hand trails up my arm, a finger gliding over my skin, making its way to my neck.
"All you have to do..."
Its hand squeezes around my neck.
"Is let me in..."
"GAH!"
I vault up from where I lay, screaming as I'm yanked away from my nightmare. My head is thrown in every direction. My silver eyes, narrowed feral-like, scan the room fearfully. I quickly feel around my body as if it were covered in insects, then wrap my hands around my throat, feeling to be certain my own hands were the only ones grasping it.
As I slowly start to realize no one was behind me, I begin to breath erratically, uneven breaths; jagged, a cold sweat running over the entirety of my body. my mouth had run dry, my hands shuddering. As the rapid beating of my heart began to slow back to normal, I wrap my arms around myself, trembling as I recalled the terrible dream I just escaped from, bringing my knees up close then all a sudden-
"Ruby!" Uncle crow shouted, "Breakfast's ready!"
-I woke from my trance and the memory's nightmare retreated to the depths of my mind.
I wait until I felt okay then quickly and hurriedly I drag my feet off the bed and rub my knuckles onto my eyes. I stretch my arms above my head and yawn as if nothing happened.
I look at my Clothes in the corner then quickly dressed. My clothes changed and now they fit me it now had weapon slots, a place for my scythe and a blood red cape and instead of a skirt I now wear leather trousers with belts going down. I loved it. I rushed down almost falling down the stairs but instead I collided into Lionel causing her to fall on the floor.
"OWWW!" she shouted
"I-I'm sorry!" I said apologetically
She looked up at me "It's okay but be more careful" I gave her my hand and she took it. We went over to the table and had breakfast it felt like I never had the nightmare, it was peaceful, and it felt...like family
"So Ruby what do you think your first day of training is going to be like?" said Uncle Crow with a smile on his face.
"Yeah Ruby what do you think?" Lionel looked at me.
"Hmm...It is going to be awkward, uncomfortable and hard but I am very excited" I said with a grin on my face.
I just can't wait to go, it is going to be amazing!
"What time is it now?" I asked
