He chuckled. Lumabas ako sa balcony at nakita kong sumunod siya. Ang ganda ng citylights. I sighed heavily. I'm really glad I chose this place.
"Why do you want to become a doctor? Is it your own choice or?" Tanong nya sakin. Ang daming tanong ng lalakeng to' eh.
"You know, you're so curious about me. You wanna get to know me noh?" I joked.
"What do you wanna hear? Truth or not?" Umupo na siya sa tabi ko causing me to look at him.
"Truth"
"Yea. I want to get to know you." Diretsong sagot nya. I love how straightforward he can get.
"Andaya naman." Then I pouted.
"Why?"
Hindi ako sumagot. Tinignan ko lang yung view at tinignan ko siya but in my peripheral view. He's wearing white shirt and jogger shorts. Plus a gold cross necklace and glasses.
"Why?" Ulit nyang tanong sakin.
"I couldn't ask you about your personal life tas ikaw tanong ka ng tanong sakin."
"Don't ask unless you're interested." Lahat ng lumalabas sa bibig nya di ko talaga expected. I don't know what to say. Am I interested? Konti. Will I lead him on pag mag tanong ako? Hindi ko alam. So I kept mum.
"Choice ko to'. Helping people is what I want to do." Sagot ko nalang sa tanong nya. Masyado pang maaga for me to ask personal things about him.
"Will we remember this tomorrow? Or we'll leave it here and act like nothing happened?" Good thing he asked.
I was contemplating the whole thing. I couldn't risk getting close to him cause by then I have to see him every day. Hindi ko siya type but he wants to get to know me and getting to know me is hell. Ayoko maging paasa.
"What happens here, stays here." I couldn't read his expression. Poker face lang kasi siya.
"Alright."
After we talked, he decided to leave na. I didn't ask why. Hinatid ko lang siya sa pintuan and bid my goodbye and said goodnight. He did the same thing.
Afternoon came,
I decided to cook kasi feel ko lang and I had a good sleep. I don't have errands to do or baka meron di ko pa alam. I just need lunch then go to the gym for a while then study.
Mga 2pm na when I left my unit para mag gym sa taas. Sabay kami ni Rivero lumabas. He was wearing pants, white shirt and yeezy tas nag cap din siya.
Tumango lang kami with each other. We didn't prolong our meeting in the hallway. We just stick to what we've decided.
Nag gym lang ako for an hour at bumalik na ulit sa unit ko. I took a bath and decided to study after. I highlighted everything that was needed. I checked my phone for any announcements. Napamura nalang ako sa nabasa ko.

Tangina! I mean may google. But the thing is ang dami kasi ugh 19 pages ng long bondpaper lahat yung bacterias. Andami pero di naman magagamit lahat. I rolled my eyes. Nakakapikon.
Agad na akong nagsimula. I was in the middle nung chineck ko ulit yung gc if Rivero saw the announcement. He didn't see the message. I don't know if I should text him or what. Ayoko din naman siya bumagsak. I'm sure he can make it. I didn't bother nalang.
8pm and I'm not yet half through it. 6 pages palang nagawa ko. Ugh. Mag dodoctor pa ba ako? I checked the gc again kung meron pa bang kailangan gawin para naman one time big time na to'. I haven't seen Rivero's name yet. So I finally decided to text him.

10 minutes later nag reply na siya.

I heard a knock at agad ko itong binuksan giving me a Rivero na namamaga yung mata. Did he cry?
"Can I stay here? Just for a while?" Hindi ako makasagot. I just nodded.
"You want water, coffee or anything?" Pinikit nya mata nya tila ba pagod na pagod na siya. He looks like he came from a break up.
"Water" tipid nyang sagot.
"Here"
"I don't know if you care or not but I just want to tell you that my mom's condition is getting worse." Hindi ako makapagsalita.
So instead of talking. I made a move na kusa yung body ko ang gumawa.
