If there was one thing Kirishima prided himself over the most, it was his manliness.

It was the most important thing for a man after all, especially when you had someone to love and protect.

"Red Riot! Look out!"

Kirishima barely had time to react, activating his hardening just in time as the beast-like Villain slammed into him, sending him flying into a building several metres away. He grunted as his body collided with the cement, wincing when he felt something in his leg snap, activating his hardening on instinct in case the building he had been thrown at began to fall on top of him. It would still hurt, but it would lessen the blow. Screams of terror erupted from the onlookers, the other Heroes screaming his name in horror at the sight of his crumpled body on the side of the road.

A deafening crack sounded above him, followed by the crumbling and unmistakable snap of a wall falling. The screams grew louder, and he ducked, covering the back of his head and neck with his arms and hands, hardening his body as much as he could, leg burning with the fiery pain of injury. He waited and waited and waited, the debris of the crumbling wall no doubt getting closer and closer to slamming down on him, and he tensed up as he heard a colossal crack, followed by loud bangs and pops. The debris that hit him was merely small fragments of cement, and after a tense moment he finally lifted his head to survey the situation.

A gasp escaped his lips when his eyes landed on the familiar figure looming above him, their left fist stretched out towards the sky, blood dripping down onto the pavement between them, their right hand outstretched towards him. A smile stretched across their lips as his eyes met theirs, and he felt his heart flutter, the scene around them disappearing momentarily as they beckoned for him to take their hand. He reached towards them with no hesitation, placing his hand into theirs, allowing them to haul him to his feet. He let them sling his arm over their shoulders, wrap their arm around his waist for extra support, interlink their fingers with the ones that hung over their shoulder. His eyes stayed locked onto them as they observed the situation, before they looked up at them and smiled.

Onlookers screamed their names, relief evident in their voices.

Kirishima couldn't help but smile back.

He prided himself on being manly, being there for the one he loved the most to protect them and save them from danger, but if it meant that they could look as gorgeous as they did now, as his Hero, then he didn't mind being not so manly.
