a - accident (would they blame themselves if you died in an accident?)

definitely. you wouldn't have died had he not been so goddamn weak. he had trained for so long and he couldn't save the one he loved most. he would spend weeks and weeks replaying your death over and over again in your head and would forever be angry and disappointed with himself.

b - break up (how would they deal with one?)

he'd be devastated but respect your decision. he manages to control his anger at first, but when he realises he can't get over you then he's going to be really angry. he'll bury himself in his hero work so that he doesn't have to confront how he feels - he'll always respect you and your decision, but he'll probably never get over it.

c - crying (are they much of a crier?)

only when he's really really frustrated or angry. he won't let you see though, and he'll try to keep to himself, but eventually he'll go to you and hug you and bury his face in your neck. he's angry at himself that he's showing you he's weak, and he's quick to pull himself together so that he doesn't show you that side of him for too long.

d - death (how do they deal with any death?)

he struggles. he thinks constantly of scenarios that could have prevented the death and he always takes it roughly. it doesn't matter how many years he spends as a hero, every time there's a death it's a personal failure and he forever feels regret about them.

e - emotion (what's the emotion they tend to push away the most?)

sadness. a hero can't be sad so he's going to push it as far back as possible. he doesn't want it to get in his way and he doesn't want it to bother you either so he definitely makes sure that it stays in the back of his mind. he hates confronting how sad he feels because he knows he'll cry.

f - frustrated (how much would it take to push them off the edge?)

it doesn't take much to be honest, but over the years he learns how to control it more. he could literally be making a bowl of cereal and accidentally spills some and it's enough to send him over the edge on a really rough day and he'll blow up.

g - great pain (what is the most painful thing they have witnessed?)

probably you being in an accident or something. he feels utterly useless and all he can do is offer you support. he hates how useless he is and wants nothing more than to see you back on your feet and recovered.

h - humiliation (how could they be humiliated?)

if someone who is meant to be weaker than him clearly overpowers him. especially if they take his place on the hero rankings. that would be the worst thing ever.

i - injured (how do they handle themselves when injured?)

he doesn't let anyone know unless it's life threatening. he'd rather deal with it himself rather than have people fawning over him as if he's weak and on the verge of death. he hates feeling weak and having wounds tended to when he can just leave them be and let them heal themselves.

j - jittery (which part of their past makes them flinch or even worked up?)

the end of all might. it doesn't matter who tries to tell him it isn't his fault, he'll always believe that. he can't get over the fact that he was the one who ruined the career of the number one hero - someone who he had admired and loved as a child and wanted nothing more than to become like him.

k - kill (would they kill for revenge?)

no. even though he seems like he would, he would never do that. he would rather lock someone up in prison for the rest of the lives to let them dwell on their crime rather than kill them. he hates death and for evildoers he sees it as the easy way out, so why would he kill someone for them to just have peace?

l - loss (what was their greatest loss?)

honestly any fight where there are casualties are his greatest losses in his mind. something really valuable has been lost and it's the worst thing ever.

m - mistakes (how much do they want to fix the mistakes of their past?)

he struggles with his mistakes, and he knows that there is nothing he can do about them. he wants to fix them, but he knows he can't, so he does his best to just make sure that he never makes the same mistake as he did before.

n - need (how would they react if you needed emergency surgery?)

he'd be really worried but he'd try his best not to show it. he tries to stay strong for you, and he'll let you know how much he loves you before you go in. he's restless throughout the whole thing, interrogating every doctor that walks by about your well being. he thinks about the worst case scenario and tries to psych himself up should that happen.

o - outrage (what makes them angry?)

a lot of things, but primarily people. just their general attitude and everything about them is enough to tick him off.

p - pressure (what stresses them out to the breaking point?)

not being able to live up to the hero he wanted to be. he's so set on that goal and it stresses him out when he isn't reaching his goals. if he's had a particularly rough day due to this, anything can tip him over the edge and he's just overwhelmed with it all. he just wants things to be easier than they are.

q - qualify (what part of themselves do they see as dangerous?)

his temper. he knows it can get out of hand and he tries his damn best to reign it in. when he gets angry he forgets himself and he worries than one day that might hurt you if it gets too out of hand.

r - rock (what weighs them down?)

his insecurities. he wonders why he can't do everything he wants to do and he can't achieve everything he wants to achieve. it tears him up inside and he can do nothing about it.

s - sorrow (would they feel empty after your death?)

definitely. he doesn't know what to do with himself and buries himself in his hero work in the hopes that that would solve it. but of course nothing can after a death like that.

t - time (what if they had a limited time to live?)

he'd act like that wasn't the case. he'd do what he loves and spend time with people he love. he isn't denying it, but he doesn't want it to effect everything he does. he knows it's inevitable, so he wants to spend the remaining time left doing things he loves.

u - urge (how badly do they get the urge to see you after separating?)

really badly. he does everything he can to make sure that he can see you sooner and gets angry when it doesn't work out. he misses you so much it hurts and he wants nothing more than to see your face.

v - vent (how do they get rid of feelings they find unnecessary?)

he ignores them. the more he ignores them the more likely it is that he'll forget about it and won't have to deal with the consequences of them.

x - x-ray (what makes them transparent? how obvious can they get around something they hate?)

it's hard for him to get around things he hates, and it's really obvious when he hates something. he faces it on headfirst - it's the easiest route in his opinion and it's faster to deal with.

y - yearning (do old memories make them yearn for your touch?)

yes. he thinks about you all the time and all he wants to do is go back and experience each one again and again and again. he wants nothing more than to feel you and be close to you again - its the only way he feels whole.
