John Walters.

This is the person that Blaze had to assassinate in order for her brother to live one more day. She knew his general background information. He is a corrupt politician who had a huge debt to pay to The Unknown. Last month, he swore on his life that he would pay it by the next week. So when he didn't, Walters moved around 5 spots up the hit-list. And since Blaze wasn't really in the mood to actually try and end actual targets, The Unknown just gave her his name.

The Unknown was the top of the top. He ran the underworld of Gotham. That means everyone was below him. Including the Penguin and The Riddler. But whenever you needed to have someone killed, you come to The Unknown. Then, The Unknown gives his target to his assassins and collects the money from the asker. That's why she had to kill the woman from before. But since she failed, her brother had to pay the price. Her aunt doesn't care about Blaze or her younger brother. She's just there because she's the legal guardian of both of them. There are unspoken rules between them like 'deal with your own problems and I'll deal with mine' and 'just live your life as if both of you are strangers.' It's been like this for the past few years now, and to be honest, Blaze is totally okay with it. She hates depending on someone and can perform better by herself.

No one knows anything about The Unknown, hence his ominous name. But one thing that people do know about is not to mess with him. Toying with him will give you an automatic death sentence.

Blaze had her eyes on Walter. She was on top of a small building and let her costume camouflage her in the night. Walter had just shuffled out of a building clutching his briefcase. He frantically looked both ways before jogged off. Blaze chuckled, slightly amused by the scared man. She stood up and heard the sound of a body landing behind her. Turning around, she found that she was face to face with Robin.

"So now you're stalking me?" Blaze furrowed her brows. Both of them had their hoods on, making them resemble a shadow.

"More like keeping track. I can't let you roam freely after the stunt you pulled with the building."

"Worry about yourself. I have a business to run," Blaze gritted her teeth as she stepped on the edge of the building.

"What are you doing?" Robin questioned.

"Jumping off this building so I can get away from you and do my job," she said as she prepared herself.

"Nope, not on my watch," Robin replied as he quickly stepped forward and tightly grabbed her wrist. Robin pulled her far from the edge and forced her to the center of the building.

"Get off me!" Blaze yelled as she twisted and turned her arm. Robin still held on tightly and didn't let go until they were right in the middle of the roof.

"If you want to go, then you'll have to get through me first," he challenged.

"I'm really not looking for the unnecessary trouble. I need to get my job done and that's all. So I'm giving you one last chance to let me go," Blaze stressed.

"No. You can't and won't kill anyone today."

"I warned you," Blaze said as she balled her fists. Robin charged at her, attempting to kick her. Blaze quickly dodged and hit him in the back of his neck. He groaned in pain and cracked his neck to relieve the pain. With a newfound surge of strength from anger, Robin managed to kick Blaze right at her side. She stumbled back and readjusted her mask. With a battle cry, Robin tried to punch Blaze. However, as a way to block him, she lifted her arms up. Instead of punching her in the chest, he punched her in the arm. The punch was still strong, and Blaze could feel a surge of pain from her arm.

Robin could fight. He was extremely skilled with the martial arts, much more than Blaze is. After all, he was raised by the League of Assasins. But there was one thing he didn't have. Superpowers. This put Robin to a huge disadvantage. Robin obviously knew this. What he didn't know was that Blaze noted this as well.

There was fire in her eyes. She had enough of this. All she had was a simple mission and she could have been done with it by now. Robin just had to get in her way and mess up everything. Before he could land another hit on her, she stood up and held out her hand.

"Enough!" Blaze roared as a light stream of fire came from her palm. It blasted Robin and he fell unconscious, leaving him only slightly singed.

Blaze had morals. She only killed those who deserved it. She understood that Robin was only trying to protect the man. That's why she only summoned a light stream of fire. Sure, it still hurts, but it wouldn't kill him. Besides, she knew that Robin's costume was fireproof. Robin may be even more angry at her, but she'll deal with that later.

"You're a good person, but I did warn you," Blaze stared at the fallen hero. "I'll see you later."

Blaze was quite out of breath. Using her powers meant using her energy. Despite the fact that she used her powers quite often, she ironically didn't have the best stamina. Fighting with Robin seemed to wear her out even more.

She heard a ringing come from her pocket. Blaze took out her phone and saw that it was No Caller ID. She answered it and heard an all-too-familiar voice.

"You've failed me. The deadline was a minute ago and Walter is still standing."

Shit! Blaze didn't even realize that it was past 12. That was always when her deadline was. She had to get the person killed by that time or there would be consequences.

"I lost track of time! I'll end Walter's life after this call, I promise. I'll even kill someone else today. Just don't hurt Cody. He's just a kid," Blaze quietly pleaded, not wanting anyone to hear her vulnerability.

"You know the rules. Now you can hear his pain." The Unknown let out a small chuckle. There were sounds of hits and smacks. Ensuing it was the screams and the sobbing. Blaze cringed and clenched her phone.

"You fucking sadist!" she growled. "You'll pay for this one day."

More hits came cries came from her phone. Unable to bear her brother's pain any longer, she ended the call. Blaze let out her anger by setting a flying bird on fire. The bird squeaked in pain and drop dead on the roof, smoking a profuse amount. Blaze jumped off the roof to spend the rest of her night in the streets.

Robin woke up just a few minutes after the disappearance of Blaze. He scowled and murmured, "I'll get you one day."
