The Conclave

Half an hour later I'm dressed and ready to meet Anya and Indra in the training room. Costia already left to speak with Titus about Edinburgh I hope everything is alright! Stop it  remember what Titus said I must stay focused today only on my combat. I walk into the training room to see 2 angry warriors in front of me. Oh no this is going to be bad "sigh" Indra makes eye contact with me and that's when I knew I already messed up. (Lexa Com Trikru why are you late? Do you realize that the Conclave starts in just a few hours and you have not trained at all today!) I'm sorry Indra I just wanted to spend time with Costia just in case I don't make it back! (Lexa I have faith in you.) Thank you Indra I'm just scared a bit! Anya looks at me with her death glare (Lexa you are the best warrior of the night bloods that is why I chose you to be my second I saw something in you and I don't plan on changing my mind about it you will be victorious Lexa! Now let's begin training.) We trained for several hours I got Anya down several times but Indra was not easy to take down she was strong fast and extremely focused she always could guess my attack. Indra finally ends training so I could rest for the last hours before the conclave begins. I walk back to my room and light my candles I lay my head on my pillow and before I know it I drift off.
Costia's POV

I've been talking with Titus for hours and he's not very happy with me at the moment for several reasons the first of which is the fact that I will not be at the Conclave and the second reason is Lexa! He's not happy that I told her I loved her knowing that we can never truly be together. Next year I will be married to Roan of Azgeda and Lexa still doesn't know. I tried to explain to Titus that I really do love Lexa but all he had to say was (I know!) he's an infuriating man if he knows I love her why is he angry with me? Titus why are you forcing me to marry someone I don't love when you know exactly who I love? (Because Costia it will not end well for either of you. If Lexa wins in the conclave today she will become Heda and shall be even more powerful than you. That doesn't mean every clan or every kingdom will want to follow a 13 year old so lexa can not have any distractions especially by you! Costia you care about Lexa so much please heed my advice and do not pursue this relationship but I am trying to keep the both of you alive but neither of you ever make it easy! If you don't Marry Roan not only will you lose Azgeda but Nia will take the throne and her first order as Queen will be to kill Lexa and then you! Do you understand?) I stare at Titus taking in all he has said to me. I can't stop loving her Titus but I will marry Roan! He will keep her safe no matter what happens to me I will make sure he protects her. (Very well then if that is your choice I cannot stop you I just hope you know what you are doing! Now off with you tell Lexa to be ready I will send Gustus to retrieve her shortly for the conclave!) Yes Fleimkepa! With that I walk away who does he think he is questioning if I know what I'm doing I'd never put Lexa in harms way. I walk into Lexa's room to find her asleep.
