Captive

Lexa's POV
Anya is back with news from the village of Gurah. Nia has slaughtered all the warriors in the village and holds the others prisoner. Which means hopefully Aden's alive. I'm going to have to tell Roan that Niyla is with Aden and Nina she's another prisoner of War. I pinch the bridge of my nose and sigh how could this possibly get worse. I've been awake for days it seems I can barely hold my eyes open. Aden needs me I can't sleep now. (Lexa!!!) I turn around to see Costia looking beautiful as ever walking towards me. Hey Cos. I don't smile. (Lex. You need rest I know getting Aden back is important. But this is a think with your Head not your Heart situation my love. You can't help if your not focused. Now come along  let's go lay down. When you wake you can think clearer.) Costia pulls Lexa in for a kiss not even minding that the tent was open. Before leading her to the bed to rest.

Soon after they lay down Lexa begins to drift to sleep. Costia runs her fingers through Lexa's hair to soothe her to sleep. "Sweet dreams Lex." Costia kisses the top of Lexa's head. Lexa is peacefully asleep. Lexa's mind starts to dream. She hears men yelling she feels hands wrap around her she tries to pull away from the persons grip she looks behind her to see her father laying on the ground bleeding. She struggles but can't get free. The next thing she knows she's in a dark damp room crying she's a young child again. One of the masters walks through the door. "Get up girl " the man says I scream NO!!! As loud as I can that was the first time I felt a fist to my face. I get dragged out of the room kicking and screaming. It only got worse from there. Their Hot gross breath on my back the feeling of their rough manly hands touching me. I try not to show fear I try to be brave and hold back tears. The pain is to much I start to cry. HELP!!! I scream as loud as I can but nothing comes out. Suddenly I hear (Lexa it's okay. I'm here with you it's just a memory. Open your eyes Lex... ) I open my eyes to see the women with blue eyes standing over me with her hand out stretched. I Take her hand and I'm no longer a child being held captive. (Lexa! This will not be Aden you will find him you are the Commander.) Wh...who are you? I ask the blurry women before me all I can see is her eyes. (That's not important. Aden is its time to wake up Lexa. Nina's in trouble.) with that I wake up stunned. Costia is curled up next to me. I suddenly realize Nina's in trouble. I hurriedly get out of bed and run out of the Tent. First I find Indra then I'll talk to Roan. I approach Indra she's sparing with Lincoln. Indra we need to speak I say with a harsh voice. Lincoln backs away. (Yes. Heda What is it you need?) Indra I trust you with my life. I still remember the day I met you. That's why I'm speaking with you. I worry for Aden's safety. It's been 3 days with no demands that Nia has held them hostage. I refuse to let him go through what I did I know it's different circumstances but still the fear is there. So will you personally lead an army to Gurah to bring our people home. I have a bad feeling that Nina's in trouble. I ask you not as your Commander but as the little girl you hummed to sleep every night for 6 months. Indra stares at Lexa with glossy eyes. (Yes Heda I will round up my warriors and I promise to bring Aden back. If he's harmed in anyway. We take Nia down  jus drein jus daun. As is our way.) with that Indra walks away. Now off to tell Roan that Niyla is in Gurah. Roan I need to have a word with you! I say in a calm voice. (Lexa. What is it is Cos okay?) Costia is fine she's asleep in my tent as we speak. I have other matters to speak to you about. Nia has killed all of the warriors in Gurah holding the rest captive. Nina, Aden, and errr Niyla are 3 of her prisoners. I have sent Indra with our best men on a rescue mission. I'm letting you know because I know you care for Niyla. (My Mother has her? Lex we have to go with Indra we can help we are 2 of the best fighters. Please Heda.) That's the other thing I wanted to ask you so let's go. Roan gives Lexa a cheeky smirk. Be ready in 5 I'll have Lincoln tell Costia we left . I say to Roan before heading out of his tent. Lincoln I shout. (Yes Heda?) I need you to be on Costia watch. Roan and I are going with Indra Costia is in charge while I'm gone but I expect you to make sure she doesn't do anything rash while I'm away Now go she's in my tent asleep. (Yes Heda right away)
2 hours later
Lexa's POV
We are surrounding Gurah. Waiting to make our move. When suddenly we hear a woman scream. "Please stop I don't know anything I swear" another voice yells back "Don't Lie!! Your Heda's healer." That's when I realise the women is Nina. "Who's Baby is this?" The mans voice yells. Shut up you little bastard I hear and then Aden screams. My heart sinks "he..he... he's mine Sir. Another woman's voice says." It's Niyla she's protecting Aden. "Girl you better not be lying or you will end up like your mother." Niyla answers back in the same pitch of voice this time not showing any fear. "He's my son sir now please leave us alone!" The man laughs loudly making me cringe. Memories flowing through my head I shake it off knowing I can't afford to be distracted. "I still think your lying girl but I think I know how to figure it out.) he laughs again. Before we here Niyla scream "get off of me" but their was no fear in her voice. That was the last thing I heard before everything went black.....
When I finally came to I look around confused. What happened? I look around to see the bodies of the Azgeda warriors.

I was drenched head to toe in blood. I look down to see I'm holding a mans decapitated head. That's when I look up and my eyes lock on Niyla. She's crying loudly laying over something or someone. I get up and walk over to her mostly to find Aden. That's when I see Nina under Niyla. She's had her throat slit but she has several other cuts and bruises along her body. I place my hand on Niyla's shoulder. Yu Gonplei  Ste Odon. Death is not the End. Your mother was an extraordinary woman she has helped many people take pride in that. (Heda. Thank you my mother really believed in you. I know you want to know if Aden's safe. He is my mother died saving him.) Your mother died a warriors death and you did well today. I'm sorry you lost your mother I truly am. With that I walk away I walk out and the first thing I see is Indra with Aden in her arms I run to them and take Aden from her and spin him around in my arms. He's safe. I look around and notice Roan is no where to be seen. Indra I call where's Roan? (Heda I believe he chased Nia when she fled.
Meanwhile
Roans POV
Lexa just got a blank look on her face before charging into the village she takes out 4 men before we have a chance to react finally Indra yells to war. We all charge forth. We take out the Azgeda warriors quickly. With Lexa doing most of the slaughtering she's kind of amazing sometimes. Lexa runs to the tent the screams came from earlier. I followed as back up. I walk into see a tall bulky man with a scar over his left eye. I know him it's my mothers lover. The thought makes me gag. What I see before me is more disturbing. He has his pants on the ground and Niyla bent over a table crying. Before I can say or do anything Lexa takes one swing and his head is on the ground. I immediately run to Niyla to see if she's alright. (Roan I'm fine he didn't get to far. You saved me well you and Lexa saved me.) where's your mother and Aden? (Nia and two others took my mother and Aden away I don't know where.) Lets go find them then I put my hand out for Niyla to grab. We run out of the room we were in back outside. Lexa is carrying. Toms head in her hand she's walking towards my mothers tent. We follow after her. My mother looks at Lexa and then to her hand. (Tom? No!! What have you done!) that's when my mothers eyes land on me. (Roan? Your fighting against your own mother? How pathetic of you son. She looks to Niyla oh so you must be my sons toy. She says with a smirk. She lifts Aden up in her arms. This child wouldn't happen to be yours would it Roan?) Nia starts digging her fingers into The babies arm he screams in pain. Lexa is about to strike the woman with her sword. Before she can Roan shoves her back. He is not my son mother he's an innocent child leave him alone. Nia looks down at the child's now bloody arm. (Oh it looks like I've found myself a Nightblood. I'll take him back with me and he can train with Ontari.) The hell you are. That is Niyla's son hand him over now! (I think not my son but if I can't have him no one can. Nia grabs a dagger from her side and goes to stab Aden before she can Nina is lunging towards Nia with a rusty nail. She stabs Nia in the side but not fatally. Giving Nia the chance to flip Nina around. Nina looks to Niyla and yells I love yo..... before she could finish her sentence. Nia slit her throat.) Niyla screams "Mother No she's on the floor with her mother in seconds. I'm still shocked at what has happened I notice my mother is gone. Shit!!! I grab Aden and run outside. Indra I call take Aden my mother got away! Indra takes Aden from Roan. I take off running towards the woods where my mother ran. I run for a good 20 min before I see her. She's bleeding from her stab wound. I am not pathetic I shout. She looks at me at first startled but then a coy smirk appeared. (Oh yeah? So your wife is not sleeping with Commander Lexa?) I stare at her in shock. How did she find out I was married and how in the hell did she find out about Cos and Lex! ( I have spies everywhere darling. One of which being your father. He was originally on Costia's side but after a lot of speculation of her cheating on you. He had her followed and My little Cousin just lead him right to her secret. The harlot didn't even try to hide it.) Costia has never cheated on me I have known about Lexa and Costia since the day we married. At least I know for a fact that the child in Costia's womb is mine. That's more then what James can say. (How dare you speak to me that way I am your mother. Wait did you just say Costia is pregnant with your child?) No shit I didn't mean to tell her that I just messed up I can feel it. I look at my mother. You know I can't let you leave Nia. (Oh hunny. You only think that!) SMACK!!!  Everything goes dark. Costia and my child cross my mind as I drift into the abyss of darkness. It holds me Captive.
