Joe🎧 I got out of the car and ran all the way to the children's department I ran into Chloes room and Chloe was on the bed and dianne was crying her eyes out
"Hey babe what's wrong!"
I ran over to her and she collapsed on me in tears
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "m-my f-f-fucking A-Aunt, she t-told my mum about Chloe and she's coming here later, joe he will p-probably c-come, I p-petrified"
Joe🎧 how could her aunt do that I couldn't imagine the fear that was going through Dianne right now,
"I've got you, I'm going to stay with you"
I heard my dad come into the room and I looked round and he looked really confused I just mouthed to him that I would explain in a minute he sat down on the other seat in her room,
"Di, my dads here, can I explain to him"
Dianne shrugged
"They need to know at some point babe"

Joe🎧 I could hear Chloe stirring and it made me think how she would be seeing them as well and if I was being honest I was scared as well, I got lodes of messages come though to mine and Diannes phone. I looked at the time and it was 3:10 so everyone would have come out of school, I quickly read them as they came up and mikeys stood out it was a private message
Mikey- Oi Oi, how come you and your precious Dianne weren't in today, you to yanno busy or was she visited her 'extremely sick' little Chloe 😂😂

Dianne pulled away from the longest hug on earth

Joe🎧 "honestly, I don't know, Chloe is safe here, and Chloe will scream if she sees him you know she will, look we can't worry about it"
Graham👖 "here you go, joe can I have a quick word?"

I got up and walked outside
"Dad I'm scared!"
Graham👖 "why fill me in"
Joe🎧 "Chloe's dad, he used to abuse them and he's coming to visit with their mum but she doesn't know anything about it, look you can't say a thing, look you need to stay here, please"
Graham👖 "Joe this is serious"

Graham👖 "fine, look I'm not going and who's at home for Dianne at the moment?"
Joe🎧 "she's on her own, he aunt comes home at 10 then leaves at 5, would it..."
Graham👖 "would it be too much to ask if she stayed at ours tonight, not at all, I'm gonna sit out here, I'll call your mum and say that Diannes staying round tonight, look I won't say anything, I should but I won't I understand. Go back in there and keep her company"
Joe🎧 "thank you dad, your a life saver"
