Ambar🛍 "Mikey sit down, joe you sit down as well!"
Joe🎧 "no I'm not fucking sitting down not till I get an apology!"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "JOE leave it!"
I could feel the whole tutor group looking at us and our tutor walking over
Mr Havis🏰 "joe, Mikey stop what's going on!"
Joe&Mikey🎧🍬 "nothing"
Dianne both boys slumped back in their chairs and I could feel another stabbing sensation coming from my stomach. I had never felt one so bad before. I clutched my stomach and toff noticed, she was the only person who knew the possibility of me even being pregnant, she was their when I threw up and I was trying to hide it but with every pain I got more worried that something was wrong with the baby.
Toff👒 I mouthed to Dianne asking if she was alright, I remembered how she thought that she might be pregnant, I wanted to take her to one side and ask, I just didn't know when.

-Toff and Dianne were in a lesson and they were the only ones in the group there-

Toff👒 "Dianne can I talk to you?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "Sure what's up?"
Toff👒 "So the other day, you said about the possibility of you being..."
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "I am"
Toff👒 "you are?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "pregnant, yes, 12weeks, look toff you cannot tell ANYONE! Only you and joe know"
Toff👒 "babe you okay, I'm not going to tell anyone, are you on the route to seeing someone?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "I've had these sharp pains but the GP thinks it might be because I'm petite and there isn't much room in there, I'm going for a scan this afternoon"
Toff👒 "do you want me to come?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "it's okay, joe is coming"
Toff👒 "okay"

-time skip to the bus on the way to the hospital-

Joe🎧 "you ready to go and see the baby?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "our baby?"
Joe🎧 it warmed up my heart to here Dianne calling it ours, I knew that she had trust issues and to get the recognition that it was going to be ours made me smile,
"Forever ours! If you had to put a tenner on it, boy or girl?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "joe I really don't care, I just want the baby to be healthy"
Joe🎧 "so do I of course I do, but, boy or girl, son or daughter?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "god sakes, ummm, boy!"
Joe🎧 "I was thinking girl, I'm more used to girls, I feel like I've been in a house of girls my whole life, don't you?"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "I don't, surprisingly, I think my main thought has always been trying to protect myself from men, I did until I was ten tho, I think it would be nice to raise a boy tho cos I've already raised a girl"
Joe🎧 "oh babe come here"
I put my arm around Diannes shoulders and pulled her into a hug then placing a kiss on her head,
"This baby will be loved tho, boy, girl, alien"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ we pressed the bell to get off the bus and walked to the maturity unit.

-at reception-

Dianne🧜‍♀️ "hiya appointment for Dianne Buswell"
Receptionist👩🏾‍💼 "um let me have a look... Just through there, your appointment is on time"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "thank you"
Me and joe walked through to the waiting room and sat down,
"Joe in a minute we will be looking at our baby! It's so weird, six years ago my life was so different, I've always wanted to be a mum to my own child with someone who I loved like in the fairytales, I didn't expect that to be so quick"
Joe🎧 I couldn't concentrate I was so anxious, Dianne didn't know about me not liking baby bumps or pregnancy, I was a bit sceptical about seeing the baby, I just smiled and held Diannes hand
"Dianne, there's something that you should know..."
Doctor👩🏼‍💼 "Dianne Buswell"
Dianne🧜‍♀️ "what is it?"
Joe🎧 "doesn't matter I'll tell you later"
