Pov: Alec

Magnus and I climbed into a cart and headed back towards the Elite Compound. He had gotten permission from his Father to treat this as an official inspection, so we headed to the New Gard first.

We walked through the door and I was tackled by a small shape that flew at me at extreme speed. I placed the boy on the ground and saw my younger brother, Max.
"Sorry Alec! I didn't see you there!"
I laughed.
"It's okay Max, just get back to your training."

"And try not to fall off the beams this time." A disembodied voice came from the ceiling. Gradually, the voice gained a body as Max's trainer, the angel Raphael, slowly flew down from the beams that were placed high up in the main hall of the Gard.
"Sorry sir, I won't do it again!"
"Good, now get back up there."

"Hello Raph." Magnus spoke from behind me. I had almost forgotten he was there. Raphael's head turned towards him, his face contorting into one of hate.
"What are you doing here, demon?"
"Er... " I tried to say something but thought better of it. Magnus laughed.
"Relax, Raph, it's just me!" Magnus stepped out of the shadow of the door and Raphael visibly relaxed. "Where's Mimi?"
"Michael's down the hall and to the left."
"Thank you. Alexander, lead the way."
I frowned, confused, as I led Magnus down the bright hallways. 

"Mimi?" I asked.

"It's what Warp calls him. Trust me, he doesn't like it." Magnus replied as we stopped outside a heavy wooden door. I raised my fist to knock when the door swung open suddenly.

"MAGNUS!" Michael shouted in my face. 

Sooo.... We'll just ignore the fact that I haven't updated in months.....
