"Father, I'm not sure if that's a good idea..." R fumbled with his powdered white wig. His dad, E, was grabbing a bucket of 24 carrot gold paint and slathering it on top of a pool floatie.
"Nonsense— we need to display our wealth, don't we?"
"Well, yes, but—"
"But what?"
"Well..." R didn't want to disappoint his dad who he so religiously followed as a child. Ever since he was born, R always kept in line as said by E's standards, unlike his brother A and sister G.
E cocked his head to the side and raised his eyebrow.
"Well... I just think, wouldn't it be better to mix it with silver? Gold gives off a yellow hue. Silver gives a more blinding, white hue," R adjusted his monocle.
"By George, you're right! Get the silver bucket!" E hurriedly set the floatie on its side, his three prongs of hair sticking from on top of his head swaying as he did so.
