Yeetus stood there a moment. There was nothing to hear besides the blood rushing through his veins. It was cold, very cold, as if this was a giant freezer. The darkness was all around him, but despite that he could still see himself clear as day. There was nothing to smell, but the cold tickled his nose.
He looked around. There was nothing to see but darkness itself.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" Yeetus called out. His voice echoed far until it couldn't be heard. Then silence once more. It felt like hours before he heard something.
"What is your malfunction?" An eerie, distorted voice crackled back.
"Malfunction?..."
"Yes. Why haven't you done your duty?"
"My duty?"
"For heavens sake, what you were tasked to do. Why haven't you gone through with the plans?"
Yeetus fumbled with his hands nervously as he found out what to say. All this had to be a dream, but it felt too real. "I-I don't know what you're talking about... I think you have the wrong guy."
"Yeetus- That is who you are. You are programmed to stop the YES data base through breaching and destroying data."
Yeetus was drawn back by his mentioned name. But more so by what this voice had said. He was to destroy YES.
"Listen, I think you have the wrong guy... I'm just here with my friends-"
Suddenly, a flash of light beamed around him. As Yeetus' eyes adjusted, he could see practically millions of monitors flickering. Some had fuzzy screens while others had various eyes staring directly at him. He looked and saw a huge mass of wire before him. It slowly turned to reveal more monitors and a single surveillance camera on top. There were three separate eyes on three monitors- one man's, one woman's, and one that was bloodshot and wide. There were two mouths on separate monitors too- one with full lips and the other was warped and distorted almost like a heart monitor. The eyes and camera looked intensely at Yeetus.
"Yeetus. Did you forget so soon?" The mass of monitors cooed.
"... What- Who are you?"
"Dear me, I'm your best friend SEHREG! You must have hit your head hard to forget me!" The eyes sparkled.
".... I'm sorry I really don't know you."
"Now hush hush, we'll catch up. In the meantime, is there anything you think you're forgetting?"
