The Water Kingdom was still standing as they had imagined. Beautiful water flowed underneath the streets. The ground was clear. The sun made the water glisten and sparkle as it hit. The palace was in the centre. It was blue and seemed to sparkle as well. Fountains lined the streets.

"Ah it was only a matter of time before you all showed up!"

Everyone looked to the man before them. There stood Cain, the king of the Water Kingdom. His hair was dark blue, eyes teal. He was wearing a blue suit with white lining the edges and a white cape was draped onto his shoulders.

"You're welcome to anything you need, the palace is open for all of you" Cain announced with a smile.

Behind him, the queen emerged. Darya. Her hair was also blue, a light blue and her eyes were teal as well. She wore a strapless dress, blue in colour as well. Her skin was tanned and her hair was wavy.

Her eyes locked onto Aster. The prince of the Star Kingdom. She met him briefly at royal meetings and found herself smitten with him. He was kind and wise. Handsome, yet completely unaware of it. He was the perfect man in her eyes, but as luck would have it, she was married to Cain, a marriage neither was completely happy about. They love each other sure, but not on a romantic level. That's the price of being royalty.

"Aster! It's so nice to see you again" Darya said, her eyes lighting up.

"Nice to see you both as well. Thank you for letting us be here" Aster said, bowing to the king and queen.

Aden rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. Aster was the perfect prince that's for sure. All kind and royal and all that nonsense. Pretty much everything Aden could not stand, yet he even liked the guy.

"Come! The palace is this way" Darya spoke, walking beside Aster.

Cain smirked. He was aware of her little school girl crush on Aster and he found it foolish. Obviously it could not happen, with the law and Darya knew that. She was still unable to stop herself from acting like a love sick puppy when he was around. Cain kept this to himself. If anyone was aware of this, actions would have to be taken. Even something as simple as a crush that would never be acted on with someone of another kind was not looked kindly on.

The palace doors opened. The walls had water flowing down them. A large fountain in the middle of the room. Water surrounded the palace as well. The floors were sparkling blue. It really was a gorgeous place and a sight to see.

"We are not going to be here for long. We have things to do, ya know, people to kill" Aden said sarcastically, the only one not in awe over the palace.

"Surely you can stay at least one night! Let us celebrate you with our kingdom" Cain grinned.

Aden rolled his eyes again, looking to the others. It did not seem like a horrible idea. They needed some time to regain their strength, to prepare before heading to the Kingdom of Misfits. One night was not enough to fully refuel. Yes another day would mean another day for Altier to cause havoc, but they would not be able to stop him if they were not completely ready.

Aster nodded, "one night. A night to relax and heal before going forward."

Darya's eyes lit up. Aster, staying the night in her palace. It made her smile and butterflies started fluttering in her stomach. It was like a dream come true.

"Excellent! Let the kingdom know tonight there will be a celebration!" Cain laughed, sending his servants on their way.

Claire sat down at the edge of the fountain. It was quite beautiful. She looked at her reflection, seeing those pink eyes looking back at her. She thought about how this all came to pass. She ended up in this mixed up universe, a universe she did not remember, but belonged in. She felt her true memories would never come back to her.
