Chapter 3

Once Annabeth parked her car at Thalia's house parking lot(Thalia's dad is very,very rich,did she mentioned that before?),it was almost 9.30pm.Her house was exactly same like the last time Annabeth saw before she moved out.

She took in a deep breathe before went inside.She can feel a strong feeling strangling her heart. Most of them are relief but part of them are guilty.Since she had settled down at NYC ,she haven't visit Uncle Zeus family yet.

As she stepped inside,loud and high amplitude of song played along with some of them danced with the rhyme.Shouts.Laughs.Flirt everywhere.Annabeth scowled.This was also one of many reason she do not like to attend party.She cautiously walked past a sea of drunken people.First,she needed to find Thalia.

"Annabeth!Is that you?"A similar voice sounded behind her and a hand patted her shoulder simultaneously.

Annabeth turned around.A beutiful girl with long brown hair and her gorgeous eyes seem to be changing colours.She even looked more pretty than the last time Annabeth saw her.

"Piper!"Annabeth grinned while threw her arms around her.

"Annie!You are back,huh?Why don't you tell us?"Piper hugged back while scolded.

"Sorry ,Pipes.Many things to catch up with.Didn't have extra time to contact you all.Would you mind to forgive me,beauty queen?"Annabeth giggled at the hard look of Piper.

"As long as you quit that dammit nickname,i will forgive you.Damn Leo for this."Piper cursed.

Annabeth laughed.Leo had this little talent at made fun of people and of cause gave them the cutest nickname.He did not dare to intitled Annabeth IN FRONT OF HER.Because he was quite scared of her stormy grey eyes glare.But she did know he called her "Wise Owl" at her back.Honestly,not a bad nickname.

"So,how are you and Jason?"Annbeth raise an eyebrow while questioning.

Piper blushed.Annabeth realized that Piper did not take alcohol.She did not look drunk and she even drinking orange juice for God's sake.Quite suspicious.

Jason is Thalia's brother.Piper and him were one year old younger than Annaneth and Thalia.They started dating since they were in highschool.They were the prefect couple.Both sweet and kind.Most important were they meant to be together.

"Err..He did propose to me last two weeks.Our wedding will hold on next month."Piper stammered.

"Finally.But Why?"Annabeth exclaimed.Piper's cheek redden.

"I..I sort of have this..you know...little things in here."Piper looked embarrass when she pointed to her stomach.

"What?!"Annabeth shouted in suprise.Luckily,the voices from the surrounding was too loud and successfully covered her scream.

"You'r pregnant?"Annabeth recalmed her nerves before whispered softly.

Piper looked down her to shoes as if she suddenly felt shamed and nodded reluctantly.Annabeth hugges her tightly which suprised Piper."Congratulation,Pipes.You'll be a great mother."

Piper hugged back with a big smile."Thanks,Annie.You'r the best friend anyone would ask for."Before Annabeth could complain about the 'Annie' things,a group of people approached them.

"Hey,i think it's my time for a warm hug,don't you think?"A familiar voice sounded behind Annbeth.They broke apart for Annabeth to turned around.

A girl with brown curly hair and gold big eyes staring at them,smiling playfully.Annabeth brightened her eyes."Hazel!Oh my Gods.I missed you guys so much!"

Annabeth engulfed her with a bear hug.Piper and Hazel laughed at her cute action.

"Hey!What about me!"A guy with messy dark hair appeared from no where.But judging from his big warm grin,Annabeth sure knew who was him.The TOP 1 Troublemaker,Leo Valdez.

Before she could answer,another three guys stood out behind him.The others two which one of them have bright blonde hair and icey blue eyes ,another have curly short black hair and brown eyes.The two of them smiled sweetly at her.The one that stood in the middle just stared at her.Many emotion seem to flashed through his eyes in a second.Annabeth could figured out a few of them which was shock,pain,relief,worry...and maybe love?She could not sure for the last one because before she could make it clear the next second he found she was reading his mind,he quickly put up with a pokerface.

His messy dark hair which was as soft as always enticed her to put her hands toward it .The pair of sea green eyes were shined and attractive that she would always lost herself when she looked at them.The flawless face and graved jaw that was more dashing than the three years ago.He even looked more handsome and manly.Perseus Jackson.

The two of them kept staring at each others.The people surrounded them seem to be disappeared.The world only left for them both.

Jason cleared his throat to get the "lovebird" attention.Annabeth jotted back from his beautiful sea green eyes and looked away.She scared that if she kept staring into them,she couldn't hold back her tears anymore.She must use all her will to blinked back the tears.

Not now,Annabeth.Keep calm.You couldn't show your weaknesses infront of HIM.You had successful hide it for 3 years.And maybe he'd had a girlfriend or wife that they were so happy and meant to be together.Don't be stupid.

Annabeth kept reassuring herself.Thinking about him and THE girlfriend and wife things make her felt dizzy, she couldn't wave away the sadness and painess that tear her heart apart so hard.She was about to excuse herself to get away from him.Annabeth failed to keep her tears.She must leave before he noticed it.

"Annie!You'r here!Thanks the God.If not i was planned to grab you here no wonder wherever you are."Thalia rushed to Annabeth and crashed her with a warm hug.

"Hey,Thals."Annabeth forced herself to show the most sincere smile."If you all can excuse me,i was glad to go to the restroom."

Thalia glanced at her and looked at Percy.She seem to notice what was going on.She nodded to Annabeth as a approvement.Annabeth returned her a thankful smile and walked away.But she could feel a pairs of sea green eyes kept staring at her and were burning her back when they fixed at her direction.

Well,not a bad reunion.Annabeth signed.
