Chapter 4

Annabeth stood by the balcony.She excused herself from the others after a few conversation and came up here to get some fresh air.She was pondered in her mind when someone came near her,break her thought.

"Hey."A fair-sounded and magnetism voice appeared from behind.Annabeth need not to turn back to know who the 'intruder'was.However,she turned her head and found herself staring at a handsome man.The seaweed brain that she missed so much for years.

"Hey."Annabeth put up a formal smile.She thought that a smile would be good to start a conversation.But she had to restrained herself to throw her arms around him so badly.She even had the urge to kiss him.She wanted him to hug her back.Everytime he wrapped his arms around her,she would feel so warm and being protected.

"So,how are you?"Percy asked,his eyes sparkling in the moonlight.He seemed so distracted and had the urged to ask her so many why 's.The first question that he had keep asking himself was why is she left him three years ago?

"Better than ever.How about you?I have heard that you become a marine biologist at last.Your dreams come true,don't you?"Annabeth smiled and stared at the sparkling stars.Her minds seemed to stay at the time when the two of them share their first kiss.

She felt happy for him as he finally rub the lamp.Annabeth could not forget how he had the most interest in the biology and swimming than the others.Percy is the best swimmer and was the swim team leader in the college.He had a lot of admires especially the school girls.Most of them were crazy for him.Annabeth could not blame him anyway.The handsome and godly look of Percy was not his fault.

Percy shrugged."Good.I think.But it's not perfect."He quickly shut his mouth before he spilt out the words:without you.He mentally cursed himself.

Annabeth raised an eyebrow.What did he mean?Before he could continue,Grover broke their conservation as he dragged Percy away for some 'manly' things though Annabeth did not want to know what it was exactly.But the suspicious and crazy eyes look that Grover shot Annabeth makes her feel unconfortable.It seemed like they were planning something that involved her but did not want her to know.Which is more dangerous.Annebeth did believe that whatever ideas came out from Grover no matter 3 years ago or now were NOT good for any of them.

Annabeth did not see the sign of Percy in the rest of night.She decides to go home at about 2 a.m. after greeting the Grace family.She did promise Piper and Hazel she would keep in touch with them.

"Annie,can I visit Jas tomorrow?You know she sure will miss me the Great Aunty Thalia."Thalia asked giggling before saying goodbye.

"Do you think this is a good idea?You know that i do promise..."Annabeth's voice faded.The image that happened 3 years ago started to replay in her minds.This is not her fault.Not technically.But she felt guilty for Percy and she had promised herself she will leave Percy for his own good.

"Come on,Annabeth.I am not going to bring anyone else to your apartment.And i will not take "No" for an answer."Thalia gave her a death glare.Annabeth nodded unwillingly.

"Fine.Just promise me don't bring anything else for her tomorrow.I don't want Jas to become a spoil girl."

"No promises.I could not help myself to bring her gifts,you know.She is such a cute and lovely girl.In this case,not a single promise for this."

"Thals!"

Thalia shrugged and replied playfully,"Good bye and good night ,Annabeth.Drive carefully.Wish you have a sweet dream.See you tomorrow."
