Chapter 2

"Annabeth!Where are you?!You do notice what time is it?!Are you thinking of running away?Don't you dare!"Thalia screamed at the other side through the phone.She had almost thought that Annabeth was going to break the appointment.

"Alright,alright,Thals.Calm down.I am on my way."Annabeth frowned at the traffic jam.

"What took you so late?!If knowing that the great and famous architect will late for her first time in life,I sure will grab her here when I meet her in the morning."Thalia softened her voice a bit seen Annabeth wasn't going to skip the party.

"Very funny,Thals.It's nothing.Just get overslept and forgot about the party.I do feel guilty.And just remind you again that the street near your house is really busy."Annabeth replied honestly.She knew that this reason was rude and ungrateful but it was real.Besides,Thalia cannot blame her,she had agree to go to the party which is way too waste her time and her money.

She is an architect which means every single minutes she spend is cash counted.The more she can finsh her project in the most short time,the more she can earn.And she need it anyway.Her twins brother need it.Both of them suffocated from the cardiac surgery.The twins had heart problem since they borned.

This was not the most bad parts to put up with.Her mother and father died in a yatch crash accident after two years her twins brother birth.Annabeth was only a 16 years old teenage girl when her parents dead.After her parents passed away,it was the most tough and difficult times for her and the twins.

They forced to move to a children's homes,Dream Castle,which was not dreamful at all.She need to take all the responsibility to take care of the two of them.They needed to check up regularly at the hospital and take medicine in time.The most unbearable is the kids at children's home.They were untolerable and kept on teasing her siblings.Annabeth would always end up fighting with them to protect her brothers.

After Annabeth reached senior year,she met Thalia.Her childhood bestfriend who moved to Canada when they were 12 years old because her dad's business expanding.Annabeth will never forget Thalia for being a supporter and helper,even more benefactor.When she found out Annabeth situation,Thalia immediately invited her and her brothers to stay with her family.Her dad,the great Zeus,the millionaire,used to be Annabeth's dad,Frederick good friend,recommended himself to take over all her and the twins education fee.Annabeth owed them too much.In this case,Annabeth will do anything to return the favor.

Now,Annabeth had turned 25 and was able to afford her family's living expenses.Recently,she just came back from Athen which she gone there as intern and had able to buy the apartment in NYC.She even able to return the fee that afford by Zeus,even though it is large amount and the Grace family had convienced her no need to.

"Annie!Annie!!Are you there?"Thalia worried line shocked Annabeth out from the past.

"Yes,Miss Grace.Don't call me Annie!and don't worry,i will reach there before your party off.Is that okay?"Annabeth giggled as she can imagine the dumbness look of Thalia.

"Fine.As long as your are coming,I forgive you."Thalia sighed at last.Annabeth could hear some voices from distants shouted for Thalia."I need to go,don't be too late or i will make you pay for it!Bye!"

"See you later."Annabeth urged back another giggled and hang up.She put her Iphone 6 inside her bag.This was going to be a long night.At least her brothers and Jassy had taken to their neighbour,Madam Midanna's house to stay overnight and she promised she will kept an eye on them,so that Annabeth could enjoy the party.Although she was sure she would not put herself in anyway.
