Chapter 6

"Thalia Grace!I told you not to bring Jas any present,didn't I?"Annabeth opened the door and signed as she stared at the numerous colourful boxes that Thalia carried.

Thalia grinned and shrugged."You did.But luckily i rejected.And now if you can excuse me,please move your butt.This things are incredibly heavy."

Annabeth rolled her eyes and shut her mouth.It is useless to argue with Thalia when she make up her mind,so do Annabeth.She moved aside to open the door wider.

"You sit here and wait."Annabeth pointed to the couch."I will go get Jas."Before she turned her heels upstair,Thalia gripped her arms.

"No,I will go get her myself.I want to suprise her."Thalia blinked her eyes childishly and stretched.Annabeth slightly sighed and shrugged."Whatever.Just make yourself home."

"I sure will.And don't act like an old woman,Annie.You're sighing for way too much resently.You do noticed that you are far from that stage yet,you know."Thalia said and rushed upstair within second without Annabeth's replied.

Annabeth glared at her back and wondered she should follow her track upstair and murdered her.At last she chose to deal with her later only because she did not want to ruin their reunion.She made her ways towards the kitchen,decided it was time to prepare lunch.With the presence of big mouth Thalia,she had to prepare double or maybe triple sets.

Thalia stepped as lightly as she can when she shifted toward Jassy's bedroom.She cleared her throat and deepened her voice before knocking the door twice."Hello,a very good afternoon ,milady.Do you mind if I come in?"

Thalia can hear a loud desperate signed responded inside and followed by a loud "dob" sound as if someone had dropped the book really really hard on the mattress."Uncle Mathew,you are a dork!That's enough!Can you please stop this stupid trick!I am trying to stay focus in 'The Little Mermaid"."

Thalia chuckled softly.Her expression was too similar to the blonde hair woman.Thalia could still remember the day in the past when she used to disturb the nerd when she was reading.It is really funny and the face that Annabeth gave her was priceless.

"Milady,I am only here to send you the sequel of what you are reading...?What's it?Erm...Oh yeah!"The Little Mermaid"!"Thalia squealed and gave out a sign of relief when she managed to come out the name of the book correctly.

Instead of expecting for the door to open,Jassy signed heavily this time and replied flatly,"There is no any second book or sequel for "The Little Mermaid"!And even if it has,when do you started to care about it?You never ever is a fan of this.Now just reveal your purpose in seconds or I swear I'll kick you out of this house.Permanently and painfully."

Despite of feeling offended,Thalia felt a smile formed in her mouth unpredicted.She decided to go in herself as to prevent this little princess took her action.

She opened the door softly and only wide enough to tuck her head in."Hey,Jas.Long time no see.And I am not suprise with your rude manner,just felt sad that you can't even figure me out."Thalia clenched her shirt which the heart located and gave her a fake hurted face when Jassy lifted her head up and looked at her.More like stared in suprise and excitement.

"Aunt Thalia!!"Jassy stood up almost immediately from the chair and rushed towards her,crushed in Thalia's bear hug."I miss you so much!When did you come back?!"

Thalia laughed joyfully and tightened the hug."I miss you too,girl.I miss you too."Jassy's big gray eyes shone in happiness.After two hours of catch up,Jassy still had a big grin plastered on her face.Beside Grandma Sally and Annabeth,Thalia is on her top-favourite-people list.

Soon,Annabeth called them down for lunch as Thalia was sharing her story in Japan,Jassy was paying full attention when she mentioned about some random big mammals and some interesting storybooks.

"Aunt Thalia,can you do me a favor?"Before they jogged down,Jassy grabbed Thalia's hand and whispered.

Thalia raised an eyebrow but leaned down instead,so that she can meet her beautiful and intelligent eyes."What's it?"She asked while stroking her dark hair.

"...You must promise me not to tell mommy about this first.And better promise you will tell me the answer.Honestly."Jassy grabbed her shirt tightly as if she was nervous.She wouldn't meet Thalia's electric blue eyes.

Thalia scowled."Yeah.No problem."

"Promise me on the River Styx."Jassy insisted.Thalia almost laughed when she asked.But luckily she managed to restrained herself.It is rude and ungrateful to make fool of people's interest.Jassy loved and always believed in Greek myth.She also paid more or less attention in the sea god,Poseidon and the wisdom goddess,Athena.Thalia did not find it suprise as this two were her parents favourite gods anyway.

"I promise on the River Styx."Thalia replied and blinked to soften the circumstance."Can you split out now,little adorable princess?"

Jassy inhaled deeply before came out the question.Look at her non-three-years-old frown made Thalia heartache.Jassy always looked like she was way too smart for her age.And maybe more worries.

"Is my father...my father.."Jassy looked down at the floor and her body began to shake slightly,like she was trying not to sob.Thalia felt her heart had stopped untechnically and she could not help herself to wrapped her arms around this poor little girl.

"Yeah?What about your father?"Thalia asked in a softer and tender voice.She slowly patted her back to encourage her.

"He is...he is Percy Jackson,right?"Jassy said, more like a statement than a question.Thalia turned rigid at the moment.Her eyes blinked twice before opened widely.She was too stunned to make a word and she did not even realize someone stood at the door and quickly move aside to hide herself after she overheard their conversation.

Annabeth froze.She only want to grab them down for lunch.She did not plan on eardropping them.But the question that Jassy blurted out almost like a time stopper.Both of them unable to move.But they did have the same thing playing in their mind.

How did she knows?
