Chapter 31: Athena

Athena's P.O.V.

     I rushed after Evelyn. I watched as she ran out of the stage door and I ran after her. "E, stop!" I yelled as I continued chasing her all the way to Times Square. I saw her stop and I ran up next to her.

Evelyn's P.O.V.

     I looked up at Athena and hugged her tightly. She hugged me back and played with my hair. I pulled away from the hug and Athena smiled at me. "I'm sorry," I said.

     "Sorry for what?" she asked me and took my hand.

     "I'm sorry I got upset and ran off," I responded, "Its just...Arianna is in the hospital and everyone is picking sides over who gets to adopt her and its stupid. Why can't they give her the choice or at least wait until she's out of the hospital? I mean, she's in the hospital and everyone is just fighting over if Lin should get her or Anthony and Jazzy."

     "I know, it's stupid. Adults, am I right," She said and I laughed. She smiled and then laughed as well.

     "Well, we should head back," I said and she nodded. She grabbed my hand and held it as we walked.

     She didn't say anything at first but then started asking about James. "So, hows James?"

     "James is amazing. I can't believe I have such an amazing boyfriend!" I responded, "He's like the best person I've ever met."

     I looked at Athena after that and she seemed to be upset. "That's...great. I'm happy for you," she finally said after a few minutes.

     We arrived at the theater a few seconds later and walked inside. As soon as we walked in, the cast ran over to us.

     "YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE LIKE THAT! I WAS WORRIED SICK," Lin yelled.

     I backed away from him and let go of Athena's hand that I forgot I was still holding. "I-I'm sorry," I responded, starting to cry, "Please don't hit me!"

     I started full-on crying. It was quiet until I heard Lin's voice once again, "Hey, hey," he said as he put his hand on my shoulder, not sure if he should hug me, "I would never hit you. I'm not like those evil people."

     I smiled a little bit as I wrapped my arms around Lin. He wrapped his arms around me as well and we stayed like that.

     We stayed like that until we heard Athena say something, "Sorry to disturb you guys, but the cast is wondering where you guys are so..."

     We laughed and pulled away from the hug and Lin wiped my tears away. I smiled at him before I started walking back to the stage and to the cast.

     "MY QUEEN!" I heard Groff's voice yell, "Where if you go!?" He asked as he scooped me in his arms and carried me to the stage.

     Athena laughed from behind us as I started to respond, "One, I just ran down the street. I'm fine. Two, was it really necessary to carry me to the stage?" 

     "Yes, yes it was," He responded and I laughed. Groff put me down on the stage and then put Athena down on the stage before climbing up himself.

     "GROFF!" Lin yelled from on the stage, "Why didn't you go backstage! I don't want you climbing on the stage!" Athena and me giggled as Groff walked over to Lin.

     "I'm sorry, Lin. Don't hate me," Groff said and Lin laughed and shook his head.

     "I could never hate you," Lin responded before turning to Athena and me, "So, the cast is all heading home and you girls have school tomorrow so go get some rest, ok?"

     I nodded and stood up. "Ok, Lin. I'll see you tomorrow. Night." I said and hugged Lin. He kissed my forehead and held me. 

     We pulled away after a few seconds. Lin smiled and then responded, "Night. Oh, and don't be up all night." Athena and I nodded before he left.

     We walked upstairs to my room area ad sat down on my couch. Molly greeted us and I smiled at her. "Hello Molly," I said and pet her for a few minutes. "I'm going to head to bed. Its been a long day and I'm tired." I said after a few minutes and got up.

     "Ok. Night Love," Athena said and hugged me. I went to bed and laid down, too tired to get changed, and quickly fell asleep.

Athena's P.O.V.

     I looked over at Evelyn as she slept. She looked so peaceful and cute as she slept. I smiled before grabbing my bag and looking through it. I grabbed some pajamas and went to the bathroom to get changed.

     I quickly got changed and put my clothes from earlier away and made a note to make sure to wash them when my mom gets back in two days. I sighed and laid on the couch. Evelyns room was one big room, except for the bathroom which was a different room. 

     I looked at Evelyn sleeping and sighed.

Hi. Been a while. Umm, so I think this is going to be the week I post a chapter a day all week because I'm off, but I can't promise anything. I do have my dad's birthday and Christmas and stuff so I'll try my best. Alright, thats all. Have a great day.
