Chapter 6

When that amazing scent of ocean breeze, vanilla, and jasmine hit my nose, I started looking around to find its source when I saw my dad standing beside a car, waiting for the people inside to get out. The driver's door opened first and out came a man who looked about 35 with blond hair. And from the passenger seat came a woman who looked to be about the same age as the man, but with short black hair. They were both dressed kind of business casual, and I realized that they must be the Alpha and Luna of the other pack. I was beginning to think that the scent was in my head, when the back door of the car opened and the scent hit me stronger than before. Out of the car came the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Ever more beautiful than the stars themselves. She had long black hair and was wearing a flowy red dress, I couldn't keep my eyes off her. She turned her head to the front of the school where me and Cole were still standing, and even though we were about a couple feet away from where they were, I could see her eyes. They were a lovely green color, and my heart rate instantly increased by 10 million.

'MATE! MATE! MATE!' Sol was screaming in my head.

"Mate" I let out a low growl and quickly put my hand over my mouth, hoping that Cole didn't hear anything. But when I turned to him, he had this stupid smirk on his face that said 'OOooo, I heard that'. I hit his right arm, so that smirk would go away. When I turned back to the direction of my mate, I saw that my dad was waving us over.

As Cole and I were toward them, he still had his stupid smirk on and kept looking at me. I wanted to punch him so hard right now. With every step that we got closer to them, the more the scent filled my nose and my heart would pound. When we were next to our dad in front of my mate and her parents, I could feel her eyes on me. I was blushing so hard and looked anywhere, but her.

'HEY! What are you doing! Look at our mate!!!'

'I CAN'T! I feel like if I look at her, I might pass out'

'WHAT THE HECK?! You better not embarrass me in front of her Siska!!!'

'But, But Sol...'

I quickly turned my head to whoever called my name, it was my dad.

"Aren't you going to greet the Alpha and Luna" He said with a look that said 'You okay?'.

I instantly straightened up and turned to face them. When I made eye contact with them, I bowed my head. Time for future Alpha mode.

"Welcome to the Amber Sun Pack, Alpha and Luna of the Autumn Moon. I hope your journey here was pleasant and that you had no troubles getting here"

"Thank you very much for inviting us here and letting us come see the school. My name in Conner Haywood and this is my wife and daughter, Annalise and Summer" He said while gesturing toward his wife and my mate.

'Summer! What a lovely name!! I love it!' Sol was howling in my head.

I was about to say something when Cole spoke up.

"Welcome, I am the future Beta of this pack. My name is Coleisus" He says as he begins shaking their hands, starting with the Alpha. When he got to Summer, he shook her hand extra long and SLOWLY. He even had the nerve to wink at her! Before I could stop myself, I was growling at him.

"Siska!" My dad yell whispered to me.

I stopped growling once Cole let go of her hand. I mind linked him instantly.

'YOU WANT TO DIE TODAY?!'

'Take it easy! I was only saying hi to my future sister-in-law' He said giggling in my mind. I unlinked with him.

'I still wanna end him' Sol growled in my head.

'High key same'

I straighten my back once more, and tried to look like I didn't want to kill Cole.

"My name is Siska, and I am the future Alpha of this pack" I said as I started shaking the Alpha and Luna's hand. When I found myself standing right in front of my mate, I was hesitant to grab her hand, but my dad was watching me. Making sure I was being a good future Alpha.

When I finally touched her right hand, I immediately felt sparks and tingles shoot all over my body. If my heart was beating fast before, it's speeding now. And I was feeling really dizzy from the contact.

Is this the mate bond or am I dying?! If I am, dying never felt to soft and good. Yep! I'm dying.

'You're not dying idiot! And stop! I think we're making a weird face in front of our mate!!'

'Sol...I might pass out'

'SISKA I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU...!!!'
