Chapter 8

Siska POV

'Hey...'

'Hey Loser, wake up!'

'HEY IDIOT! WHO PASSED OUT IN FRONT OF OUR MATE! GET YOUR BUTT UP!!!'

'Uuughh, shut up Sol! You're giving me a headache'

'Don't tell me to shup up peasant! You embarrassed me and fainted in front of our mate! Now get up or I'll just keep yelling!' Sol started growling and yelling louder than she was before.

I shot my eyes open, holding my head from the overwhelming headache Sol created. I think I'm at the pack hospital, judging from the smell. I suddenly felt tingling and electricity coming from my hand.

"Are you okay? Does your head hurt a lot?" An angelic worried voice said to me.

I turned my head toward the voice and saw my beautiful mate next to me. I felt the tingles grow and look at my hand. She was holding it, I looked at her and then my hand, then back at her. I could feel my cheeks growing red. She noticed I looked at our hands and she pulled hers away.

"Sorry" She said. I whimpered at the loss of her hand in mine.

"Siska! Thank god you're awake! What happened?" Cole yelled coming into the room. My parents following in not far behind him.

"N...Nothing happened! I guess I was dehydrated or something" I said laughing nervously.

My dad started laughing really loud out of nowhere. He was laughing so hard, he had to wipe so tears out of his eyes. We all stared at him in confusion. What was funny?!

"I'm...I'm sorry, but I just realized how much of my genes you got from me" He said, trying to stop his laughter. I was still confused.

"At first I was worried you were sick, but when I realized that Summer here was your mate, something in my brain clicked"

I knew what he was going to say and I was shaking my head violently for him to stop. But dad either didn't see what I was doing or she was ignoring me.

"You see, when I met your mother and had the guts to talk to her, I got so nervous and heated that I passed out in front of her" My mom made a face, as if she remembered something after my dad said this. She then looked over at me and started giggling.

Why are my parents humiliating me?

"So that's probably what happened to Siska! I impressed though, at least you lasted until you made physical contact, I couldn't even talk to your mother" He started laughing again. I could feel my face burning red.

He's going to pay for this.

I leapt out of my bed and lunge for my dad. He dodges me easily and starts running out of the room.

"Cole! Assist!" I yelled running after my dad.

"Roger!" He yelled running behind me.

We followed dad to the large field in front of the hospital. I sprinted to him and jumped on his back, tackling to the ground. He quickly reversed our positions and the next thing I knew his armpit was in face.

"Gotta be better than that, little wolf" He said laughing.

'Sol! A little help please?!' I yelled to her in my head.

'Nah, I don't think so. You embarrassed me, so it's your turn' She said sassily.

I groaned and looked at Cole who was just standing there, looking amused at my struggle.

"911 Bro!!!" I said angrily at him. His amused smile was wiped of his face as he jumped on dad's back, getting him off me. When dad was off me, Cole helped my off of the ground. I quickly mind linked him our plan to take down dad.

'HEY! Are you planning on betraying me again?!' He asked through the mind link.

'Not a chance! It'll take the both of us to take him down' Cole nodded his head at me and the plan begun.

Cole started circling dad one way while I went the other. We were like the hands on a clock and dad was in the middle. Perfect.

"NOW COLE!" I yelled, and like expected my dad turned his body around ready for Cole's attack. But Cole was still standing where he was, which gave me the time to run up to my dad while his back was turned and tackle him to the ground. When dad was down, Cole joined the dog pill, to put more weight on him so he could get up.

"We got you now old man!" I said feeling victorious. I was about to put him in an arm lock when mom called out all of the sudden.

"Guys!! Stop messing around! We still have guests over you know!!"

I wasn't going to give up, but then dad used his Alpha strength and pushed me and Cole off him.

"Unfair!" I yelled, landing on my butt.

"Sorry kiddos, we'll continue the battle later. We should get to the pack house and get dinner started"

I sighed and stood up, helping Cole up too.

"Siska"

"Yeah Cole"

"I think I might have a boo boo" He said, showing me his finger. There was a little cut on it.

"Shut up"

I laughed, shoving him before heading to the pack house.
