Chapter 9

After the fight with dad, me and Cole couldn't stop laughing and pushing each other.

"No! I swear we almost had him!" I said while playfully pushing Cole.

"Uh huh, yeah sure. I'm pretty sure we're just pups compared to him! I mean dad flip us off him like we were a pancake" He said laughing.

I turned to him and gave him a sour face. "That's because he cheated and used his Alpha strength!" I defended.

"True" Cole said stroking his imaginary beard.

"Stop that, we both no facial hair is pretty much nonexistent for you" I laughed. Cole looked at me with a fake hurt face.

"How dare you! I could grow facial hair if I wanted!"

"Yeah, if you turned into a wolf!"

He didn't look to pleased with my teasing, so he tried to punched me but missed. After his failure at revenge, he tried to chase me, but before he could get close someone mind linked with us...Very loudly.

'SISKA AND COLEISUS MARCUS IF YOU DON'T GET TO THE PACK HOUSE NOW! YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT WHEN WE GET HOME!!!' My mother's voice rang through my head.

'Oooo, you in trouble' Sol mocked.

'Not yet!'

Me and Cole start running for the pack house, hopefully getting there now would stop the lecture from happening later. Reaching for the door, me and Cole struggle to go through the door at the same time, making us fall to the floor.

"Dang it Cole!!" I said, rubbing my face that just hit the floor.

"I was at the door first!" He complained, rubbing his forehead.

I was about to yell back at him that I was at the door way before he was, when the strong smell of vanilla and lavender hit my nose. I looked up from the floor and saw that my mate was standing there above me.

"Are you okay?" She asked, her voice was so sweet.

"Y-Yeah! I'm fine"

I leapt up from the ground and dusted myself off. Cole was taking his time getting up, groaning about how I pushed him or something. Before he could fully get up, I pushed him back on the ground and took Summer's hand, walking to the dinning room before Cole could recover.

"That wasn't very nice" She said giggling.

"Sorry, he kind of started it" She just looked at me and laughed a little. This is the first time I've seen an angel laugh.

'She probably thinks we're childish now! Great job Siska!' Sol yelled in my head.

'But! He did start it!'

'You could have gotten him back later!'

That's true, but nothing is better than the present. I looked back at Summer and saw that she had a distant look in her eyes, she was probably mind linking with someone. When she was done, she let me know what was going on.

"Sorry, my dad just mind linked me. He wants me to go to him and meet some people" She said, letting go of my hand. "I'll talk to you later okay?" She smiled at me, and I just nodded.

I was about to go find something to do, with the lose of warmth from my hand, when my mom mind linked with me again to tell me that she wants me to come to the kitchen. I really hope it wasn't another lecture, I didn't want it.

'Well, you usually get what you don't want knowing your luck' Sol said.

'Why? Why would you hurt me like that?'

'Sorry, truth hurts' I can imagine Sol sticking her tongue out at me.

I sigh and head into the kitchen, expecting the worst thanks to Sol.
