1| Past

"Colby i'm- i'm pregnant" His girlfriend Jess said through the phone. His eyes widened and his heartbeat quickened. He was speechless. "What?" He ask. They both were only 16 how are they gonna do this?

"Yes Colby! I am pregnant! I'm so scared" Jess confessed. "Okay babe just come over we'll talk about it" He said. "Okay bye love you" She said. "Bye love you too" He reply. He hangs up.

His hand were shaking since he just started his Vine career that makes him more scared. After 10 minutes his Mom called him from downstairs. "Colby Jess is here!".

He quickly ran downstairs and lead her back up to his room. They both sit on the bed. Colby noticed that she had been crying. "Hey hey it's okay, we gonna get through this together okay?" He reassured her.

"I'm so scared, I'm for sure not ready to be a mom" She said looking up at him with teary eyes. He sigh. "It's fine Jess it's fine" Colby reassured her.

Throughout the pregnancy Colby was there by her side. She tried and tried to push him away but Colby refused to walk out the door.

"This is all your fault!" She yelled being 9 month pregnant. "Jess chill out you gonna hurt the baby!" He said. "I don't care I don't even want the baby!" She yelled again.

Then she started crying. "I'm sorry I was stressed out and i'm scared" She said. Colby hug her. "It's okay babe" Colby said. Colby parents were a little bit shock from the news that he gave them yet Jess parents doesn't want to se the baby even the day she was born.

"Ow! Ow Colby it hurt!" Jess yelled. She kept saying it hurt Colby quickly take his car since they both were living in Colby's parents house. He lead her down the stairs slowly.

"Colby what happen?" His Mom ask. "I think she's ready to give birth" He confess. His mom eyes widen. She quickly take her coat and went with them to the hospital.

While they were at the hospital Colby were inside the room where Jess would be giving birth to their daughter. After a few times of pushing Jess finally did it. His daughter was here. She was crying hysterically.

The nurse gave his daughter to Jess. She quickly look away from the nurse. The nurse look at Colby with a sympathy eyes. But the nurse just put his daughter on Jess chest.
While they cut the umbilical cord and taking out the placenta. "The date she was born was 5 January 2014!" One of the nurse yelled making everyone in the room cheered.

Jess look at her daughter in softness. "Hi" Jess said caressing her daughter head softly. Colby smiled at them both. After they had done all of the cleaning, they take their daughter and clean her.

The nurse came back with her daughter wrapped like a burrito in baby pink soft cloth and a cute little beanie. The nurse hand their daughter to Colby. He cradle her in his arm. "Hi beautiful" he whisper to his daughter softly looking at her feature. She has brown hair like Colby but they didn't find out the eye colour yet.

He slowly walk towards Jess bed and sit down on the chair beside the hospital bed. Jess look over to Colby, her eyes widen when she saw her daughter. "Genevieve Aurora Brock" Colby said looking at Jess with a hopeful eyes.

Jess nodded with a smile on her face. "You can have her" Jess suddenly said. Colby look at her with a confusion face. "You can have full custody of her i- i don't want her" Jess said making Colby eyes widen.

"What? you-you don't want her?" Colby stutter. She quickly look away from him. Colby feel his heart shattered in pieces by Jess words. Then a nurse came in with a document. "Okay so what's her name?" the nurse ask softly.

"Genevieve Aurora Brock" Colby answered. They filled up the document. "Okay so please sign here" The nurse said handing the pen and paper to Jess. She sit up and signed it.

"He can have a full custody if this baby" She said casually. The nurse turn to Colby with a sad expression. "Okay sign here" The nurse said smiling softly at Genevieve. He sign the document up and waited. The nurse came back with another paper.

"You're gonna have the full custody right?" She ask looking at Colby. "Please follow me" The nurse requested. He nodded. He put Genevieve in her bassinet. He walk with the nurse outside. They both arrived in some room. The nurse ask Colby to sit down and he did.

"Okay so please fill this up" The nurse said to him. He nodded. "I know this might be hard but you'll get through this" The nurse said suddenly. "I was single mother when i was only 16 i know how hard it would be. But trust me it will be better soon" She reassured Colby.

Colby smiled and put down the pen when he finished filling up the paperwork. "You can go back to your room" The nurse said. He nodded and make his way out and back to Jess room.

His Mom was in the room already cradling Genevieve in her arms. "So adorable" His mom said. "What's her name?" His mom ask. "Genevieve Aurora Brock" He answered. His Mom smiled softly.

After 4 days in the hospital they both were discharged from the hospital. Jess make her way home back to her parents house. "So?" Jess mom ask. "She's with Colby" Jess said. "Are you sure you don't want her?" Her Dad ask. She shake her head 'no'. "I don't want her dad I'm not ready to be a mom" She confess. Her parents nodded understanding.

While in Colby's parents house, his parents were really excited to see Genevieve. Well now they called her Vee. Next year he was planning to move to Los Angeles but he didn't what to do with Vee.

And his parents offer him to let them take care of her while he was away. He quickly agreed. Sam? Sam was in LOVE with Vee. He was confident that he would be her favourite Uncle.

When she turn 6 months she started to learn how to walk. Jess? She never contact Colby again. She didn't even sent a message that they moved away from Kansas.

"Come on baby girl" Colby cooed at Vee as she wobble on her own feet. She giggle as she tried to walk towards Colby who was in front of her.
Sam was there too they were in Colby's parents living room.

"C'mere baby!" Colby said taking his arm out for a hug. She quickly take her first step. Colby gasp. "C'mon! C'mon!" he said excitedly. She quickly take her full step and walk towards Colby. She jump in his arm. She squealed.

"I'm so proud of you my girl" He said as he hug Vee little body. "Yay!" Sam cheers. "Ya!" Vee squealed. Sam and Colby laugh. His heart swelled with love.

She imitate him in every way she can. She has Colby brown hair and his ocean eyes. It saddened Colby that he need to move away from Kansas and leaving his daughter with his parents but he trust parents.
