The One [𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐛𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐱 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫]

12| First Flight

"I go with Dada" Vee said pulling her arms away from her grandma grips and ran to Colby. "She's staying no matter what" Her grandma say.

"No she IS coming with me" Colby stated putting Vee behind him. His mom stand up and walk towards Colby. "Give her to me!" his mom yelled. "No!" Colby said.

His mom quickly yank Vee from him. Vee started to cried. "Oh Vee it's for the best" Her grandma said then started to pulled her into a hug put Vee pushed her away. "Dada!" she sobs.

Her grandma let her go and she ran to Colby. "You know what? If you tried and take her away from me again I would make a police report about kidnap attempt" Colby threatens terrified of his mom behaviour towards his daughter and him. His mom just sit there helpless.

"Baby" Colby said hugging Vee that was sobbing on his shoulder now. Colby calm Vee down then the uber came. "You okay baby?" Colby ask Vee that was wiping her tears away. "Yes" Vee sniffles.

Colby take the duffel bag and the suitcase put them in the trunk as the uber driver open them. Colby get in the car with Vee. He quickly look away from his mom that was standing in the doorway.

After arriving to the airport he quickly do everything he needed such as scan the ticket and arrange the suitcase. After doing so he quickly take one of Vee's sweatshirt and slid on to her incase she got cold.

"You okay baby?" Colby ask caressing her red cheeks softly. She looks a bit shaken up by what happen but I can guarantee you she's okay now.

"Okay now stay close to Dada okay Genevieve?" Colby said. Vee know when he called her by her full name things are serious. She nodded in response.

"Dada I hungry" she said patting her tummy. "Okay let's get something to eat then" Colby said grabbing Vee and lifted her up in his arm so he wouldn't get worried eventhough he just warn her about being close but he knows what she's gonna do.

They got muffin and drinks for Starbucks then decided to chill a bit. "Dada" Vee called out. "Yes?" Colby said after taking a sip on his drink.

"Where we going?" Vee ask then taking a piece of the cut up chocolate muffin on the table. "You're going to live with Dada now" Colby said putting his drinks on the table. "Okay" Vee said finishing her muffin. Sam called Colby.

Sam: Hey man, How's everything going?

Colby: We are waiting for our flight now

Sam: Oh,Really?

Colby: Yeah but something happen when we get there I'll tell you about it

Sam: Is Vee okay?

Colby: Say hi Vee!

Vee: Hi Uncle Sammy!

Sam: Hi Vee! Are you excited?

Vee: Yea! Are you go there?

Sam: Yes! See you there princess!

Colby: Okay! Bye!!

Vee: Bye!

Sam: Byee!

hangs up.

After done eating they just wait on the waiting area patiently. "Dada I tired" Vee said yawning.

"Well baby come here" Colby said patting his lap. Vee took off her bag pack and set it beside him then crawled on Colby's lap. He kissed Vee head softly.

"Sleep baby Dada will woke you up when it's time to go okay?" Colby said. "Okay" Vee said drifting off ignoring the lousy noice in the airport. She let out a soft snores.

Colby take a photo of them and saved it. He started thinking. He was nervous about his career and Vee. But all he think is right now that Vee is in his arm and they are on their way to LA.
