10| Arguments

Colby wakes up and glance at the clock on his bedside table. It was 7 in the morning, he was a bit shock but didn't mind it because he sleep early yesterday.

He look over to his side meeting Vee's little body hugging his arm. He aww'ed. He turn to Vee. He slowly stroke her hair and to her cheek. He lean forward to kiss her head but Vee's eyes were slowly blinking fighting to open it.

Finally, she open it. She look at Colby with a sleepy ocean eyes, "Hey beautiful" Colby cooed. She gets up and lay on top of him. Eventhough he was laying sideways, which means she was laying on his arms.

Colby pat her back, "Come on time to get up" Colby said taking Vee from laying on top of him and sitting her back down on the bed. She groan and rub her eye with her little fist. Colby get up and stretch. Vee look at him in tiredness. She yawns. Colby picked her up and get her ready for the day.

"Okay which one do you one?" Colby ask Vee who was sitting in the bathtub full of bubbles. "This one" Vee said pointing to the Mangoes scent baby body wash. Colby take it and started to wash Vee. "You know, Mangoes is one of my favourite fruit" Colby said. Vee look up to him with a smile.

After getting her ready he wanted to get ready. "Okay Vee Dada wanted to get ready go play in your room okay?" Colby said finishing his daughter ponytails. Vee turn around and look at him. "Dada don't go where?" She ask making Colby hearts ache. "Nope now go" Colby said kissing her forehead softly.

After watching her little body run out of the room he sigh. He kind of regret leaving her in the first place. But it was already done what can you say about it right? After he gets ready he goes to Vee's room to look for her.

The door was left open a bit so he can see what Vee is doing. "I scared if dada gonna leave me more" Vee said to her teddy bear that she got on her birthday. "I wove him so much" Vee said hugging the teddy bear tightly to her chest.

Colby smiled and open the door making Vee look at the door. "Dada" she sang walking towards Colby. "Heyy" Colby said crouching down to her level. "You know I'm not leaving you again okay?" Colby said to Vee who was standing in front of him wide eyed. Vee look at him unsure but still nodded.

They both walk downstairs and found his mom again in the kitchen making breakfast. Oh, this breakfast gonna be awkward. "Hey nana" Vee greeted Colby's mom. "Hey Vee" She greets her back. "Hey" Colby's mom said when she turns around to see Vee in Colby's arm.

"Hey" Colby said quietly. She put down the waffles on the table for Colby, Vee and herself. "Where is dad?" Colby ask. "He was out for his job early, Emergency" His mom casually replied. Well his dad was a doctor so he sometimes the hospital needed him to be there early.

"Oh okay" Colby said quietly. "Dada" Vee said pointing to her plates for Colby to cut the waffle for her. "Okay" Colby mumbled as he cut the waffle into pieces.

After eating he help his mom do the dishes like he always does. "So when are you leaving back to LA?" His mom ask suddenly. It was a bit rude as if she wants him out of this house already. "Tomorrow" Colby answered.

After a long day of playing with Vee and editing videos his mom called him to talk after dinner and talk about what's going on.

"Colby sit down here we have something to talk about" His mom said. She was sitting in the living room. He was a little worried about what his mom wanted to talk about but he just goes in the living room and sit across her.

"You're bringing Vee to LA huh?" She said look straight at Colby. "Yes" He answered. "Well think of what's the best for her Colby, She should stay here in Kansas. She's safe with me" His mom explain.

"You think she's not safe with me?" Colby said sternly. "Well It's for-" Colby cuts her off. "You always said that but is it good for Vee? Huh? No! She was sad right? You were the one who called me and rant about how she's not doing well! And now? You said it's the best for her stay here and be depressed all day?!" Colby said fuming. "She is coming with me. That's my decision" Colby continued.

His mom was speechless didn't know what to do. "Well if you wanted to go with her never called me again!" His mom yelled at him. Colby look at his mom with dead eyes. "Okay if that's what you want then" Colby said and walk up the stairs into his room slamming the door.

Colby's mom suddenly feel guilty washed over her. She sits down with her head in her hand. "What have I done" She whisper.

After Colby slams the door he goes and sits on the bed frustrated. He sits like that for awhile then a knock was heard. The door open slowly, It was Vee. Her expression showed that she was worried.

She quickly ran to Colby "Dada?" She whisper looking at him pulling his hair in frustrations. He finally look up to Vee with a sad eyes. Vee slightly frown when she sees Colby's face.

Colby suddenly hug her tightly. "I love you no matter what happen I love you" Colby said shakily. Then he let go of Vee. "I wove you too" Vee said making the duck face to him making Colby laugh. "I love you more" Colby said. Vee shakes her head "No I love you more" Vee said pointing to Colby and tried to hide a giggle but failed.

After fighting over who love who the most Colby brought Vee her room and picked out some outfit since she needs to come with him to LA. Colby take his suitcase that he didn't use and put Vee's clothes in it.

Vee sits down beside the suitcase watching what ever her dad was doing. Every time Colby put her outfit in one by one making her more confuse. She pick one and get it out.

Colby turn around and look at the outfit that was on the floor his eyes turn to Vee. He just picked it up and put it back. Vee then get it out again.

Colby turns around to put another shirt and a sweatpants but the previous outfit was back on the floor. He sigh and put it back in. After he turn around he hear Vee giggles. After packing her stuff they went back to Colby's room and sleep since tomorrow was a long day for them.
