The classroom was quiet. Testing in section, I can't break concentration.

It's the first day of SATs and I'm not quite ready for it.

After school, I walked to my locker. As I opened the locker door Kevin glanced at me without a word.

My heart pound and ached. My only hope right now is to get outside while people are still out.

Walked outside and saw Tyler's truck. I made my run but stopped.

Tyler and some other girl were talking. I tried to not let it bother me and walked away from the truck without him seeing me.

"Mags?" He called as I popped up from ducking away.

"Oh, um. Hi Tyler. I didn't see you there." I walked towards him and the girl.

"Mags this is Charmaine. We go way back in high school." He says.

"Hi Mags, I heard so much about you." The girl smiled.

"Hi.." I mummer.

"Well, I'll catch you later." She waves and walked away.

"Is that another one?" I crossed my arms.

He frowned. "What'd ya mean?"

"Another girl you're fooling around with?" I said.

He laughs. "Mags you're hilarious."

Hope he knows I'm serious.

"No, we're close friends from way back when." He chuckled.

"C'mon I'll take you home." We both went inside the truck and drove off.

"Hey Mags, hey Tyler," Leyal said as she fixed up some food for herself.

"Hey, Leyal," I said.

She went to the living room.

A knock appeared at the door. "I'll get it," I said walking to the door.

Tyler watched me open the door. "Kevin!?" I yelled being startled. Tyler got up.

"What's your business?" Tyler says walking behind me.

"I want to see Leyal." He said. There was something odd about him.

He adds on hand in his hoodie pocket as if he had a gun.

I backed away from him slowly as he stepped in.

Leyal ran to him. "Baby!" He kissed her as Tyler and I watched.

Looked at Tyler in confusion.

A few mins led off and Kevin and Leyal disappear.

I spent the afternoon with Tyler in the living room watching movies. We sat in opposite sides of the couch.

Tyler glanced at me. "So I see that you looked jealous earlier." He pointed.

"What? No, I wasn't." I said looking back.

Tyler had a smirk on his face.

"Sure you did. But why? Do you still like me?" He said.

I blushed. "No!" I shouted.

I realized I was getting loud. I got you and went to the kitchen.

He followed and got behind me. I quickly turned. For some reason, Tyler's body was a brawl and it was calling me.
I stared into his eyes for a moment.
He smiled and leaned in a little. My lips reached the tip of his. I leaned on the kitchen counter as we kissed.
I hesitated.
"I- can't do this," I said. The face Tyler made of disappointment.
