The Maze's Death's

I walked in the building I knew Thomas and Teresa were in and the first person I see is a guard. He has his back turned to me and I raise my gun, cocking it at his brown hair. He slowly turned around and instead of the WCKD guard I see Newt.

"Kill me" he said before slowly disappearing, I didn't have enough time to register that the WCKD guard had lifted up his gun towards me. I didn't hesitate, I pulled the trigger, making him fall to the ground. Another one showed up holding his gun to me, I didn't see the guard, I saw Newt.

"Kill me" he said, I lifted my gun and pointed it as he disappeared and all I saw was the guard. I shot him and began to climb up the stairs. There was a point where the stairs weren't able to be climbed so I climbed over the debris as the door opened revealing Teresa, carrying Thomas.

Newt appeared on Teresa's face and I held the gun up towards her, but Newt didn't say anything as he smiled and disappeared from my sight and I was left with Teresa carrying Thomas. I put my gun in my waistband and looked at her. I nodded with approval and she smiled slightly at me.

We carrying Thomas up to the roof, I opened the door and it was on fire, everywhere you looked. I set him down and she sat on the floor with Thomas in her lap, the same position I was in with Newt not even ten minutes ago. I walked over to the edge, close enough to see over and the berg, with Jorge in the front was right there.

"Teresa, Thomas" I yelled running back over to them, I helped Teresa get Thomas up as they turned the berg around. They opened it up and I was glad to see all my people. Fry, Brenda, Minho, Gally, Charlie and (leader's name). I smiled slightly as we put Thomas on the berg.

Brenda grabbed my hand and pulled me up, I laid on my stomach and reached out for Teresa. She reached for me and then searched the berg. When she didn't see someone on it she retracted her hand.

"Teresa" I yelled "give me your hand, we can still make it to the safe haven, trust me"

"I failed Raigna" she yelled back over the roar of the berg and fire "I could have helped prevent Newt's death, Winston's death, Chuck's death. I failed and I had a chance to make it better"

She looked over at the building crashing. She looked back at me.

"And I did" she yelled as she backed up "I tried and I'm sorry"

With that the building collapsed, taking Teresa with it. I watched her fall to her death from the berg. I tried to reach for her one last time but she was out of my grasp.

"Teresa" Thomas yelled as Jorge pulled up the berg. I sat beside him, the bullet in his chest making him bleed more. Everyone was scrambling to make the bleeding stop, but Thomas?

He just closed his eyes and smiled a very small smile but it was still there. Everyone was yelling at him to keep him eyes open. I let them handle it as I watched from afar, I took my necklace off and looked at it. Gally sat to my left and Minho off to my right.

Minho pointed to my necklace and I knew he was asking about who they were from.

"The heart is from Gally; I never took it off after I thought he died" I said playing with the heart "the diamond is from Winston, his last words still clear in my mind"

"Raigna, when you make it to the safe haven, please don't forget me. Make me part of your life not just your memory. Stop holding back from Minho, we all can see how much you love him. Can you do me one more favor? Put this on the necklace Gally gave you and always take me everywhere with you. take it, please, Raigna"

"The flower is from Newt, he gave it to me right before we left him and Thomas" I said playing with the flower Newt gave me, remembering his last words to me.

"Take it, Raigna" he said coughing uncontrollably. In that moment I knew my best friend wasn't going to make it. I took my necklace off and attached the flower unto it. He nodded in approval before bringing himself closer to me, his arms slowly wrapped around the small of my back. My arms wrapping around his neck "Raigna just promise me that you'll look after everyone. We couldn't have made it without you"

"Newt" I whispered, pulling back I cupped his face and kissed his forehead. Crying I said words I never knew the meaning of until now. "Newt, I love you"

He smiled, looking at me with black eyes, he nodded his head as some of his tears began to fall "I love you too Raigna" he whispered, I let go of my best friend and walked back to Thomas, Gally and Minho.

I smiled at the little trinkets, now wherever I go I can have Gally, Newt and Winston with me. I put the necklace back on and laid my head on Minho's chest, falling fast asleep.
