The ranger forces finally arrived to see ratchet holding alexis who was semiconscious blood was dropping from the wound in her stomach elaris herself tried her best to heal it. It was temporary fix but it would work. The best hospital in the area was funnily enough on kiva in Atlantis. On the ride there ratchet and clank never left her side. Quark had popped his head in to check on all of them "how is she?" He asked ratchet swallowed "she'll be ok until we get there, then I don't know, she took a r.y.n.o blast for me." He looked back to alexis her breathing was just below normal. What would her reaction be for when she was home? Well at least the same planet as home same city. "It will be just a bit longer until she can receive better treatment ratchet." Clank said looked back at him "I know pal. I know." Ratchet said
Later at Robecca and Charlotte's home
"When do think he will return? Alexis was trained by an amazing general. Do you think he...I won't finish that thought." Charlotte shuttered Robecca put her tea down "I highly doubt it. Ratchet has known her longer than the both of us. Given the events he has been keeping her company. Same for clank. They work well together." Robecca said she took Charlotte's hands "alexis will come home." Charlotte nodded then a knock "I'll get it." Charlotte kissed the side of Robecca's head as she went to the door "your back!" She said ratchet smiled clank gave a small wave "yeah could we come in?" Ratchet asked Charlotte moved so they could after some slight talk ratchet started "alexis is safe. But...." "There's always a but." Robecca sighed "is she still under nefarious's control?" Charlotte asked "well, we dunno know. She's in the hospital. Here in town actually." Ratchet responded "oh!" Robecca said Charlotte sighed "welp! Were visiting the hospital tomorrow!" She said "thank you both. For bringing her home." The conversation went on
At the hospital
Alexis had been awake for about 20 minutes before ratchet and clank had to leave because visiting hours were over. Alexis had been trying to sit up now that the staff had finally left her alone. It was very tiring in her mind so she just put it off until tomorrow and tried to get some sleep. The soreness from nefarious only made it harder to sit up. She was laying on her side trying to sleep but something was keeping her awake. Just some feeling she sighed rolling over "I miss you dad. I never even got to say goodbye." She whispered she buried her face into the pillow. Just at the edge of her hearing she heard a footstep alexis made a fist underneath her pillow she was not going back. She shifted just a tad. When she thought the intruder was close enough she lunged he caught her wrist so she wouldn't slam into the wall due to a sloppy charge she looked at him the moonlight spilt in from the now open window but she could still barely make out his face. Not that she need to see his face. The silhouette of a lombax is unmistakable the white fur with red stripes gave it away.
Alexis smiled and hugged him "hey dad." She managed before the tears fell.
Alister had to admit he did think his daughter was asleep she was a good faker. He gladly returned his daughter hug. She looked back at him "ratchet told me you..." she didn't want to finish her sentence alister shook his head "obviously I'm not just. I tried to do something very foolish. And for that I was punished." He said "what? You look- your, your eye." Alexis said shocked alister had a eyepatch on.

"What happened?" She asked "my punishment my little miracle. I'm blind in that eye now." Alister replied "well it makes you look even more like an awesome general." Alexis said alister kissed her forehead "you realize that the lombax army doesn't exist in this galaxy anymore. Besides for what I've done they'd want to forget I ever served under them." Alister gave a sad chuckle "dad, we've talked about this. They shouldn't forget you. Not if lorna had anything to say about it." Alexis could barely remember the face of the woman who helped her get back to her dad after some time alexis realized that lorna was more than likely her mother. But why she was left she didn't know. "Alexis, did you report me missing? I don't want to have to keep sneaking in to see you." Alister commented "no dad I didn't. It seems like azimuth's always have a tendency to come back." Alexis joked "I suppose your right." Was all he said as he pulled her back to the bed "dad." Alexis started alister shook his head "you've been through a lot these past few months. Your healing from things. Rest helps with that." He pulled the covers over her "is this a dream?" She blurted out alister smiled and took off his eyepatch and gave it to her "if that's with you in the morning then it wasn't. I'll visit soon. But I'll go check out the house I have keys." Alister kissed her head "goodnight my little miracle. I love you." And he left from the window just a quietly as he came off into the warm night. Alexis forgot to tell him an important thing though.
She let ratchet and clank stay at her house.
