Ratchet and clank: ghosts of teleportation *discontinued*

finally home

It had been an interesting couple days for alexis the hospital staff looked a little surprised when alister showed up but they let him see alexis and he came at the right time because the serum he stole in order to free alexis from nefarious forever had been proven to work and was ready to be given to her. Alister sat next to alexis on her right side her left arm was laying open ready for the serum alexis looked at alister more than a little scared given what the last 6 months had been but she forced herself through it. She just looked at him and tried to focus on something else besides the hospital robot taking what felt like forever to get the serum in already once it finally did and the robot left they hugged "he can't use me anymore daddy." She whispered "I won't let him some much as come on kiva anymore my little miracle." Alister replied the next day then went home "where are the girls and ratchet and clank?" Alexis asked in the walk home alister only smiled as they got home and once they opened door alexis gasped

"WELCOME HOME!" everyone yelled

"Really?" Alexis tried to sound sarcastic but her smile betrayed her voice as Robecca and Charlotte hugged her then was pulled into another via ratchet "he can't control you?" Robecca asked alexis shook her head "not if he tried." She said many long conversations happened and they all moved up to the roof in order to watch the sun fall beneath the waves of kiva. Ratchet glanced over at her the sun made alexis's stripes stand out amazingly her blue eyes showing true peace and happiness then she returned his glance and they both looked away sheepishly.

Later

Charlotte and Robecca had gone home alister had long since gone to bed so it just left alexis, ratchet, and clank although clank left them alone "hey ratchet?" She asked "yeah?"
"Just thank you so much for helping me. Helping my dad. Us all." Alexis said "you know the rangers could use another girl." Ratchet started "me! Join the galactic rangers?! After what I-"
"Nefarious." Ratchet cut her off "what nefarious did. Not you him." Ratchet said just a little more harsh than he had intended alexis looked down "I guess your right. But there is two good things that came out of this." She looked back up at him "and what are those things?" Ratchet asked "You found me and I got my dad back." She said "that is some silver lining." Ratchet yawned "I'm gonna head to bed. See you in the morning."
"Night ratchet." She called after him

Then next day

When ratchet woke up he and clank went to the main area of the house and alexis was making breakfast wearing earbuds singing along to some song. She was wearing a black tank top with some blue jean shorts and no shoes she threw a glance over her shoulder "morning you two." She said as she took out her earbuds "hey lex." Ratchet returned "hello alexis." Clank said "where's alister?" Ratchet asked "takin a shower. Dad likes to get it out of the way." She said "by the way Charlotte and Robecca are gonna come and get me for the afternoon so that's why if you try and find me don't worry he didn't come for me again." She said half joking ratchet took the bowl she was holding and put it on the counter and hugged her alexis let her head rest in his shoulder "morning alex- what did I miss?" Alister asked both of them separated alister raised an eyebrow "morning dad..." alexis said "hey alister." Ratchet responded "morning to you both." Alister hugged his daughter and picked up a plate "so when are the girls coming?" He asked giving a half glance at both of them "later this afternoon." Alexis responded "it's funny how you kinda assumed." Ratchet said "after 6 months of not seeing each other ratchet?" Clank said "yeah fair point."

Ok I have tried to get farther with this chapter but it's not happening so til next time
