Alister got home very ready to just pass out on the couch. He had left the serum he stole on the hospital front desk with a small note that said: this will help Alexis M. azimuth. Then snuck his way home ratchet was in the living room with clank cleaning his omniwrench. Then he and clank heard keys jingle and the door open and there was alister his good eye looking at ratchet who had a constructo pistol pointed at him although he was shocked to. They both had weapons pointed at each other "how are you alive?" Ratchet asked "can I lower my staff in promise you won't shoot me?" Alister retorted this lombax was pointing a weapon at him in his own home. He couldn't blame him why had he come back again? "Yeah I put down mine you put down yours." Ratchet said both did alister shut the door at sat across from him "where to start?" He asked aloud both to himself and ratchet and clank "preferably after the clock explosion." Clank said "I've been trying to piece that together myself after I turned the clock off it's a bit of a haze. When I did wake up everything hurt in some way and I can't see out of my left eye." Alister said "I was gonna ask about out that." Was all ratchet responded with the once red and yellow eye had now been had a grey pupil and white for its color "I generally wear an eyepatch but I gave it to alexis so she didn't think it was a dream." Alister's head rested against the wall "we left...oh you snuck in didn't you." Ratchet said "obviously, I didn't know if alexis had reported me missing." Alister sighed "then, after I got back to my ship which is on the roof I went back to torren VI. It seemed like the best place I could go I wasn't sure how alexis was doing. I thought after so long she was better off without the failure of a father that I was." Alister held his head now looking at the ground "that's where I stayed fully accepting that this was how my life was. But then I heard of nefarious returning and he had made an ally she was exceptional to say the least but the only lead I had was crime scene reports and part of a armor set and a insignia.

Even under nefarious's control she was still hellbent on finding you even just to say a formal goodbye." Ratchet looked him dead in the eye and Alister had to smile at the look he was given.
