It was the last day that ratchet and clank would be staying on kiva for a bit but they would be returning for 10th of July the day kiva was discovered "c'mon dad! Beach ain't gonna stay clear forever and we gotta get a good spot!" Alexis yelled "alexis miracle azimuth! I'm very aware!" Alister shot back "do you guys always..?" Ratchet hesitated "eh. This is how getting out of the house works at then in the morning." Alexis shrugged "we only have to walk just down the road." A heavily accented voice said "morning Charlotte, Robecca." Alexis turned to her friends who were both wears their swim suits

alexis's ^ "her mom's coming later." Robecca cocked her head towards Charlotte "oh yeah how is your mom?" Alexis asked "she is well." Charlotte responded then alister walked in wearing tan shorts with a black tank top "hello girls." He greeted Charlotte flashed him a smile "hello alister I hope your both adjusting well." Robecca replied alister looked to his daughter who smiled "were both doing alright." He then said "today's my last day then we gotta pay an old friend a visit." Ratchet said "oh well I hope it goes well." Charlotte nodded "thank you." Clank said "forgive me for asking but will you be able to handle sand clank? Sometimes I find sand in my gears for days." Robecca commented "yes I can handle sand just fine. Thank you for the concern." Clank replied so they all went out although alister definitely gave the water some space. Ratchet looked at him and he only shook his head as if saying "it doesn't matter right now." Ratchet turned back to alexis who was looking at the water "something wrong?" He asked quietly alexis shook her head "no. It's just I haven't been back to kiva's oceans since...it happened." Ratchet nodded "I get you. And is alister ok?" He asked alexis huffed a laugh "dad has a phobia of deep water so he never really goes to far in." "Yeesh. That's gotta be tough when you live on a tropical planet." Ratchet rubbed the back to his head by now clank had walked beside ratchet "are we going to get in?" He asked
"yeah. We are just..." then she pushed ratchet into the water
"Really?!" He yelled Charlotte walked next to alexis and hand resting on her hip "oh yeah...forgot to warn you...she like to do that." Charlotte said trying to cover her laugh "well at least now we know that its really our alexis." Robecca replied appearing next to her alexis put out a hand in order to help ratchet up but as he took her hand he pulled her down with him "dude!" She yelled half laughing it didn't help that she was faintly blushing ratchet around the same "karma lex." Was his response Robecca shook her head then became very flustered because Charlotte kissed her cheek "can we be gay somewhere else?" She stuttered "if someone has a issue then they can deal with it." Charlotte responded "Charlotte roxie copperchain!" A woman shouted "hey mom!" Charlotte waved to a woman who looked a lot like Charlotte just with blonde hair with grey streaks smiled at alister in greeting and the turned her attention back to everyone else "it's good to see both azimuth's back home." She said "hey Alynn. I would hug you but I'm soaked!" Alexis said as she and ratchet got up both of them were soaked having sat in the water and the waves for a while "I don't believe I've been introduced." Alynn said gesturing to ratchet and clank "I'm ratchet and this is clank." Ratchet said "hello. Alynn correct?" Clank queried "yes my name is Alynn copperchain." Charlotte walked up and hugged her "how are my babies?" She asked as they separated "I am well." Robecca said "among the living." Alexis said jokingly Alynn laughed "I see after all that happened you still haven't lost your sense of humor." "Alexis seems to have that skill." Alister said as he stood next to her a drink in hand which Alynn gladly excepted "where's hunter?" Alexis asked "unfortunately he my husband couldn't make it as he had something's to attend to at the police department." Alynn sighed "was that who wrote lex's report?" Ratchet asked "actually yes. How did you know?" Alynn asked "a friend pulled it up when I was looking for her." Ratchet put a hand on alexis's shoulder this caused her to give him a side glance.
The day went on as everyone just enjoyed the day. Alister sighed and held up his drink "to our crazy kids Alynn." Alynn raised her drink "to our crazy kids." She replied.
