Before we start I would like to apologize for my absence. I'm now in high school and trying to balance this along with 3 other books. But enough of me. On to the story!

"So did you really just come here for the tech con?" Ratchet asked alexis shrugged "A girls trip never killed anyone. Plus I still thought you were on veldin." She brushed a bit of hair put of her face "is something up?" Ratchet stopped walking pulling her close "I'm still worried that nefarious...he might still have some hold on me. Or that he can hurt you, clank, Charlotte, Robecca, and my dad." She admitted "I want to be able to put it behind me but...it's easier said than done." She hugged him and ratchet hugged back "Your strong lex, none of us will let him near you." Ratchet kissed the top of her head then alexis's phone went off so she pulled it put and sighed "leave it to letta to ruin the moment." Then she answered it "talk to me girl." She said ratchet smiled d also wondered why they always talked to each other like that "relax I'm fineeeee. I'm with my significant other right now. Plus weren't you were gonna go to the hotel's pool?" Alexis said while putting her right hand on her hip which seemed to be her thing "eh I doubt he'll mind but yeah I'll ask him." She then turned her attention back to ratchet "you wanna go on a double date with the girls? Or to soon?" Ratchet debated for a minute then shrugged "sure. What could go wrong?" He joked "you'd be surprised at what we can do fuzz face." Then she went back to talking with Charlotte ratchet huffed a laugh and the playful  insult "yeah I'm fine. No! I have no intention on going anywhere at night! Keif! Oh you did not just hang up on me." Alexis sighed as she shoved her phone back into her purse "double date two days from now. Meet up at 6?" She cocked her head slightly in question "eh I'll come to you if you can give the hotel and room number." Ratchet responded "yeah sounds like a plan. And it's not formal just kinda a casual thing. It literally an arcade." She laughed at the last part "more fun for us then. But didn't you say you wanted to talk to elaris and clank?" He took a step towards the building "oh yeah kinda blanked." Alexis followed him "how's alister?" Ratchet wondered "dad's doing good although I call him at some point of every day so he doesn't worry." Alexis replied

"funny story. The day before we left he ran into his study door frame. He then claimed he was still relearning the house." She slowed started laughing it was hard to say it with a straight face

"I thought it's been like what? A month?" Ratchet started laughing as well "yeah! That's the joke!" So once the 2 lombaxes calmed down they walked into the hall of heroes and they went down in order to see elaris and clank.
