Author's POV~

America wasn't feeling himself today, why? Because he was tired and stressed, having to take care of fifty states can be tiring. Don't get him wrong, America loves the states and the states see America as a big brother or father figure. America dragged himself out of bed after the bloody annoying alarm demanded him to get up, and just his luck it had to be a world meeting day, 'fucking perfect' America grunted under his breath as he got changed. America was thinking of not showing up at all but of most of the other countries will noticed, that's how it goes for a power-country.

Time Skip

America finally made it to the meeting seeing most of the countries already there, "Look who's late." UN said in an annoyed tone. America didn't say anything and just sat down in his seat, some countries were quite surprised that America didn't make an excuse but pushed it aside. During the whole meeting America was spotted dozing off or taking short naps before immediately waking up, "Seems like someone was up all night hunting for oil." Russia snickered making some countries laugh.

But America didn't respond, he was to tired, then his brother Canada confronted America. "Ame, Are you ok bro?" Canada said concerned, "N-no, it's just that I was busy taking care of the states last night. I'm alright." America yawned. Then UN finally interfere, "America, I think you should go home to get some rest." UN suggested making everyone stop talking and look at America. America sighed getting up, since he saw no reason to refuse. He then left out of the door, "I swear, those states are gonna drive him insane." Germoney whispered to Russia who was also concern.

Next day

"Texas! Put the pistol down NOW!"

"Florida! Take that alligator back where it came from!"

"California, WHA- WHY ARE YOU ON FIRE!?"

"That's it Hawaii, no more pineapple pizza!"

"Alabama, that's disgusting."

"Washington DC, Watch your mouth!"

"New York and New Jersey, Stop fighting!"

"Pennsylvania, take the damn vampire outfit off. You're scaring Ohio!"

"Delaware, you're the oldest one here! You should know better!"

"Mississippi- shit, your name is so long I can't even remember what I was gonna say."

Was what America was shouting as most of the states ran around and some actually listened and behaved, America then sat down on a armchair and rubbed his temples. He was about to yell at another state until he heard knocking on his door, grunting he got up and answer it. There stood most of the countries from the world meeting with concern written on their faces, "Uh...Did I do something?" America asked raising a eyebrow. "No, it's just we been hearing a lot of noise and shouting from your house-" Canada tried to explain but was cut off, "Shit, I'm sorry. It's just me shouting at the states. I'll make sure to tune it down." America said about to close the door until a foot blocked it from closing. It was Russia, "America, TAKE.A.BREAK." Russia said firmly while the other countries in the back agreed with him. "But-" America was no getting cut off, "Ame, how about we take care of the states while Russia helps you relax for a bit and get some fresh air?" America's other younger brother Australia suggested.

"I can't-" America tried to explain but stopped when the rest countries gave him a "Shut up and listen" look, "Fine..." America grumbled. Soon as he was about to step out of the house something caught his foot, it was Lousiana and Maryland holding his leg in a tight hold. "Nooo! Please don't go, we'll be good we promise!" They pleaded with puppy eyes, America bit his lip while some countries awed or snickered at the scene. "Sorry children but America~Senpai needs a break right now, so we'll be taking care of you." Japan said appearing out of no where(again!) and picking up Maryland and Louisiana who were struggling in her grip, "Well, let's go Meri." Russia said dragging America who was wondering why him of all people.

"Don't call me that." America said rolling his eyes wishing he had his shades, "Ok, Amy." Russia smirked hearing the shorter male groan in annoyance. "Where are we going anyway?" America asked now blushing after noticing Russia is holding his hand, "It's a place where me and my siblings used to go when we were kids." Russia said making America quite jealous that he had more freedom than him when he was a kid. "Annnddd here it is!" Russia exclaimed stopping in front of a beautiful meadow full of roses, "Wow." Was all America say as he look around the grassland. "I knew you'll like it since its full of your national flower." Russia blushed seeing America's eyes shine while looking at the beautiful roses.

"It's been such a long time since I saw a rose..." America admitted sheepishly scratching his neck, "Really? Why?" Russia asked a tad bit surprised. "Well, I've never had much freedom when I was kid growing up with Britain as my father. And sometimes I don't have anytime to go out since I have to take care of the states..." America said sitting down in the grass while rubbing his arm, Russia say next to him. Russia was quite surprised hearing this, he was kinda jealous since America still has a father since his dad USSR...ya know. "I gotta say Russia, thanks for taking me to this place it's really peaceful and quiet. Something I thought I'll never get with the states around." America said laying down in the soft grass and immediately falling asleep, Russia smiled with blush tainting his cheeks when he saw America sleeping. "Your welcome Meri." Russia said giving America a small peck on the lips before laying down with him and soon falling asleep with him.
