No one's POV
Micky and the others go into their MonkeeMen costumes and they were getting ready to retrieve their friend from harm. "Okay. Here's the plan. Remember, they could be waiting for us. We don't know what we will be walking into. So, be safe." Micky handed Davy and Peter and ear piece that was attached to a radio so they could hear each other talking. "Keep this with you at all times and do not under any circumstances turn it off. We need to be able to hear each other."
"So, we're splitting up?" Peter asked concerned.
"I know your scared Pete, but its the best way to find Mike without all of us getting caught. Now, if someone ends up coming from the direction you go, be sure to take them out. It doesn't matter how you do it. Just don't get caught."
"Okay." Peter muttered under his breath. He didn't sound to confident in himself.
"You okay Petah?" Davy asked noticing that Peter wasn't too sure about this whole operation.
"Yeah. Just a little nervous about going back to that place ya know."
"Listen, you don't have to go if you don't want to Peter. Its okay to not go. No one is going to force you to go." Micky said walking over to Peter trying to tell him that everything is okay even if he didn't go along.
"No. I'll go. Mike needs all the help he could get. I don't wanna leave you both to get Mike. I Wanna go."
"Are you 100% sure Petah?"
"Yeah. Let's do this." Peter said. His voice was a little bit shaky. He was nervous and terrified to go back.
"Okay. Davy you ready?"
"No. But that hasn't stopped me. Let's go."
The trio made their way back to the site they found Peter at. Now, they need to rescue their other friend who is in grave danger and now they know why.
Once they arrived, they walked in one by one through the piece of the building that had exploded earlier that day. "Davy, you go right, Peter, you go straight ahead, and I'll go left. Remember, be careful. Don't get caught and if you find out where Mike is, use the radio. DO NOT go in by yourselves." Micky said as they all split up into different directions.
Davy walked down the corridor and heard some voices getting louder so he went into a closet that was next to him. He thought that was convienent enough. Little did he know, thats where Mike was chained and gagged. Davy wasn't paying any attention to Mike who kept trying to talk through his gag. Davy just ignored the muffled noises. He heard Micky through the radio: "Anything yet guys?"
Finally Mike decided to try and yell Davy's name. "Did you or Petah say my name Micky?"
"I didn't. What about you Pete?"
"Negative. Haven't spoken yet."
"I could have sworn I heard my name."
"Have you tried checking behind you? Maybe its an old enemy trying to come back to haunt you."
"Very funny Micky."
He heard it again.
"I can't be hearing things Micky. I really hear someone calling my name." It took Davy 5 minutes to actually turn around. "Hey Mike. Anyways, I can't understand why I hear my name."
"Wait.......Davy, did you just say 'Hey Mike?'"
Then it dawned on Davy that Mike was in there with him tied up and unharmed all accept for his wrists and ankles.
"I did. I heard some voices, went into a room, and I guess I found Mike."
Davy approached Mike and the first thing he did was ungag him. "Man, its about time you decided to turn around Davy. I thought you were just going to leave."
"Were you hurt at all?"
"No. But these restraints aren't helping my situation any. Did you get the cops down here?"
"Not yet. We were going to once you're safe and out of here. Then we can tell them what we witnessed and what you witnessed for that matter."
"You do know they might not believe my story. There is no body and there's no evidence of there being a murder."
"Or is there?"
"Huh?" Mike questioned unsure of what Davy was talking about.
Davy got the rest of the chains off Mike and helped him up. "Okay. Let's get out of here........Wait........someone's coming!"
