The World at Hand

Walking through the shop Miss Yuuki realises that it was a general goods store that sells pretty much anything that someone needs for a house other than furniture. "Hey, umm is it Jinx or Elise, I've heard you get called both and I wasn't sure what I should call you." Miss Yuuki said while still looking down just like how she was on the walk here. "Considering the fact that my name is Elise stick to calling me that." Elise said as he walked past Max giving them a quick dig in the arm. "Ouch." Max said as they went to dig Elise in the arm only for them to miss horribly and fall over landing in front of Miss Yuuki. "Hi."
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine, he didn't actually hurt me."
"Oh okay, but what about the fall, did that hurt."
"Nah I've fallen on worse before but thanks for asking." After hearing this Miss Yuuki just nodded and carried on following Elise to the back of the shop where he and what Miss Yuuki has assumed to be the boss was waiting for her to join them.

"First off I would like to say welcome to our humble place of business Miss Yuuki, my name is Hazama and I run this place, and before we go off into what I actually want to talk about, how much do you know about this fine country we live in?" Asked Hazama with a friendly smile as he stood in front of which Miss Yuuki assumes to be his desk since he has already said that he runs this place. "I know about the inside of the walls and that only the people who was born into a very good family live in the inner walls of the city while living a life of luxury." Miss Yuuki answers in a rather quiet tone but it was loud enough that Hazama and Elise could hear what she said. "So I take it that you don't know what the outside of the walls are like?" Elise asked just as Hazama was about to open his mouth and unlike the nice friendly tone of Hazama, Elise spoke in a slightly harsher tone but it didn't seem like he was trying to be harsh about his question. "No I don't know about them, all I know is that it's a place you don't wanna end up." As Miss Yuuki said this Elise and Hazama looked at each other and nodded as if they both knew what each other was thinking. "Well do you know that people who live on the streets or abandoned warehouses like you was doing get sent to live out there if the government dogs find them?" Hazama asked still in his friendly tone though it sounded more serious than last time. "Anywhere would be better than where I was before." Miss Yuuki whispered to herself. "I'm sorry what was that?" Both Hazama and Elise asked simultaneously. "Oh it's nothing don't worry." Miss Yuuki replies in a sudden panic. "Well I take it that you don't have a place to say then?" Hazama asked and Miss Yuuki just shook her head in response. "Well you do now, you will be staying with Elise until you can get back onto your feet." Miss Yuuki just looked at Hazama wide eyed as if she was given the most wonderful news in the world, whereas Elise looked rather annoyed that he didn't have a say in this, but he knew that he had to listen to Hazama. "Well anyway now that's out of the way let's get onto what we really need to talk about." Suddenly Hazama friendly appearance dropped and he became extremely serious." Miss Yuuki I heard you had a run in with Elise while he was out doing a little job for me?" Hazama asked in a very serious tone. "That's one way you could put it." Elise said in response while Miss Yuuki just nodded her head. "Yes well I was trying to be nice about it, anyhow since you ended out seeing him during his little job I will have to be keeping an eye on you which is why I am letting you stay with Elise instead of sending you back to your family because I know who you are Miss Yuuki." Miss Yuuki started to have a mini panic attack as she didn't think anyone knew who she was but this man who she has never met before knows and also the person she is gonna be at staying with is gonna question it. "Oh and don't worry about people finding out because only you heard what I just said." Miss Yuuki was confused but just listened and nodded though she was still having a panic attack. "So then I recon we are done here it was nice meeting you Miss Yuuki, I hope staying with Elise is a good experience and if he tries anything you don't want him to tell me, okay." While he is still saying this Miss Yuuki is just simply nodding while Elise has started to just walk out of the room. "Well anyway I'm gonna guess that you will need some clothes and that lot so here take this money and tell Elise that he needs to take you shopping since I don't believe that you will know your way around." With saying this Hazama gestured Miss Yuuki towards the door before sitting down at his desk and going back to his paperwork, so Miss Yuuki walk out the room to find Elise leaning on the wall to the left of the door and without Miss Yuuki having to say a word Elise said, "So then I guess we will be going shopping." before taking his leave with Miss Yuuki following swiftly behind him once again looking at the ground.
