Past choices

A few hours had last since Elise had showed back up in the room and everyone was awake and doing their one thing, Miss Yuuki was reading a book that she was handed by Elise, though she didn't actually know why he had the book but was still thankful that he did. Asuka was of getting a few things for the room, Max went back to their own room. As for Alice and Elise they went out somewhere but didn't mention where they was going they just left, but Miss Yuuki didn't mind as she got a bit time to herself in the safety of their room, though she did wonder what it is that Alice dragged Elise off to do.

"Come on Elise you and me both know you needed this." Alice said as she was trying to drag Elise into a clothes shop in town that wasn't that far away from the school. "Just because that's right doesn't mean I agree with this." Elise said as they entered the shop. "Well too bad as we are already here." Alice said as she already started looking at the clothes around them. "This is gonna take a while." Elise said as he reluctantly followed Alice further and further into the store.

It had been about half an hour since Alice and Elise had entered the shop and Alice was having a great time going round and looking at all the clothes, and even though he didn't want to admit it Elise was also having a good time, not because of the clothes shopping but just from the sheer fact of how much fun that Alice was having. "Are we done here yet or are you gonna just keep looking at more clothes?" Elise asked hoping that they could leave here. "I'm almost done here just wanna get one last thing but you can go wait outside if you want." Alice said as she started to walk to what Elise assumed to be the last thing she needed. "Alright just try to be fast." Elise said as he headed the other way towards the door.

It took Alice another few minutes to come out and meet back up with Elise which wasn't too bad, and luckily she only has the one bag so there wasn't too much to carry. "Alright let's go." Alice said as she started to drag Elise off again. "Where are we going this time?" Elise asked while just walking along with Alice. "You'll see." Alice said in a semi flirty tone.

Another ten or so minutes later they had arrived at a small out of the way cafe that was open but didn't seem to have any customers on at the moment. "Here we are a place where we can have a chat before we go back to the school." Alice said as she opened the front door. They decided to go sit at a table off to the side that wasn't too close to either the door or the counter at the front and started to look at the menu while waiting for a waiter to come over, when a waiter came over they both decided to just get a hot chocolate, Elise because he didn't like coffee and Alice because she just wanted a hot chocolate. A few minutes later and they had been served the drinks. "Okay now that we have drinks, what happened to it sister?" Alice asked knowing that being straight toward about it isn't the nicest but it's also the best way to get it over with. "Which part, the part of her being taken and becoming a test subject, or the cause of her death?" Elise asked not trying to avoid it even though he wanted too. "Both of you can." Alice said knowing this was gonna be hard on him. "Well I don't really know much about her being a test subject all I know is that when I was young some people broke into where we was living and took her away mentioning about her being silver eyed, which is why I hide mine, and I didn't see her for years after that, but the next time I saw her was out on a mission for the tribe, but she wasn't being herself and in fact she was trying to kill me so I ended out having to kill her with my own two hands, a few years after that I had learnt that she was already dead and a necromancer had brought her back and so I started to hunt them down and have still been doing that till this very day. " Elise managed to say despite him having to fight off tears. "Holy shit, well that explains why you didn't want Robert to mention her." Alice said while placing a hand on his. "Yeah that and what he was saying, though I think this is how the world has decided to get back at me for all my mistakes, one of which being having to kill her whether or not she was technically already dead." Elise said as he looked at his hand, the one that has Alice's hand on. "Well if it is remember that you now have all of us, so it means the world isn't just trying to punish you." Alice stated hoping it would help him. "You say that now, but Asuka showing back up is gonna cause problems between me and Max, plus it's just a constant reminder, along with this." Elise said while pointing out the mark on his neck. "Yeah I can't really argue that, other than the fact that you leaving is what made her leave since she was the child of the head family of the tribe, the people who brought you into the tribe, so you leaving made them go ballistic at her, which is why she has the tribe tattoo, with it being forced on her." Alice said not realizing what it was she actually said . "Shit, I didn't think she had the tattoo too." Elise said while putting his head against the wall that was behind him. "Yeah, it's why she hates getting dressed in front of anyone what so ever." Alice said. " I'm not surprised, but anyway what did you get? " Elise asked wanting to change the subject away from the tribe. "Oh yeah, that well I looked this morning and saw I didn't have clothes suited to helping train you and your abilities so I got clothes for that and something else." Alice said looking like she wanted to say more but she decided to stop. "Well what is it them?" Elise asked realizing that she wanted to carry on talking. "Welllll, I'm not sure it's really your colour but, I got you this." Alice said as she pulled out a rather large hoodie in a pink colour similar to those shade of her hair. "This is for when you can't sleep or when you need to know we are with you, which is why it's pink since its my favourite colour and I got a big one since, come on who doesn't like big hoodies." Alice said trying to explain why it was how it was, but Elise didn't mind how it was as she got it for him to try and help him. "Thanks." Was all he managed to say , but luckily enough Alice could tell he meant it. "No problem, but still let's start going back now." Alice said as she was getting up.

Back at the room Miss Yuuki was just tidying her stuff and the shared stuff while everyone was away, since she had already finished the book that Elise gave her, which she didn't mind because it was a way to keep her distracted from everything that was currently going on. Just as she finished sorting out the kitchen area, Asuka came through the door. "Wow Rose have you just been cleaning this whole time?" Asuka asked as she set down the bags that she had. "No I was reading for a bit, but mostly yes I was." Miss Yuuki admitted as she started to help Asuka unpack the bags. "We're back!" Alice exclaimed as she walked through the door. "Do you have to be so loud?" Elise asked as he walked through the door and sat on his bed. "No, I just wanted to be." Alice said. "Glad to see that everyone is back, and also thanks for the book Elise." Miss Yuuki said as she finished putting away the stuff she had taken out of the bag that Asuka had brought in. "No problem, also I wanna talk with you Asuka, so could we go find a place to talk?" Elise asked. "Yeah sure but I don't see why we can't talk in front of the others?" Asuka asked back. "I just don't want to that all." Elise said as he got back up from his bed and opened the door back up, with Asuka following him out the door.

It took the two of them a few minutes to find a place where they didn't think they would be heard before they could start talking but when they did Elise didn't hesitate to start asking questions. "So then I heard that me leaving the tribe made it a lot harder for you due to your family, so I wanna ask you what they did to you other than forcing the tribe tattoo onto you." Elise said with a blank face, knowing it would take a bit to answer, which it did as she spent a few moments looking between the ground and her side where the tattoo is. "Well they, they started of by just working me harder which wasn't too bad, but then they started to randomly hit me, then they started to blame me for you leaving and hitting me more, and then they started to beat me regularly and force the tribe tattoo onto me, and then they took a blade and and... I can't say it." Asuka said as she started to brake down crying her eyes out. "It's okay I think I get what you wanted to say but couldn't, is that when you decided to leave as well?" Elise asked, only getting a nod in response. "Well then looks like we need to go back and teach them a lesson." Elise said as he slammed his fist into his palm. After he did that Asuka just looked at him and could see he was serious about that, but she didn't understand why. "Before you even ask, we're a team now and I gotta look out for y'all, plus I have my own reasons for getting back at them anyway, so might as well get back at them for you as well." Elise said while walking closer to Asuka, eventually giving her a hug and letting her cry into his shoulder. After a few minutes of this Asuka seemed to be done with crying. "I know you probably don't want to show me but could I see the scar that it left?" Elise asked, and even though she was reluctant to Asuka eventually nodded and started to slowly lift the left side of her top revealing a large mark going from her hip to the bottom of her bra. "T-t-there can I put my top down now?" Asuka asked nervously, and Elise just nodded and started to lift the right side of his top revealing what seemed to be a scar on the same fashion as the one that was on Asuka. "You ain't the only one that they slashed, why do you think I left, they used to do all that stuff to me before I left though I endured through the beatings and grew stronger from it and only left when they brought a blade to me, and I don't know why but that one scar is the only one that won't heal, ever other scar I've had had healed but this one won't." Elise said as he put his top down. "I-I-I never knew." Asuka said as she began to cry again. "Don't worry nobody saw it, it kept it secret, well over than from Max which is why they don't like you, but anyway let's get back inside before Alice gets any ideas." Elise said as he started to head back the way they came, but before he got very far, Asuka gave him a tight hug from behind, and then let go and continued ahead of him.
