The dusty old drunk

"The Dusty Crow, didn't think I'd be coming back here." Elise said as the two entered the pub, with a few of the groups of people giving the two some awkward looks, but more specifically Elise. "Alright guys stop staring at the kid he's old enough to be here." Said the man stood behind the bar who was currently pouring someone a pint of lager. As Elise and Lily walked up to him a lot of people had stopped starring at Elise some still was but they weren't gonna say anything as they didn't want to be kicked out. "So then Elise long time no see." The barkeep said as he handed Elise a small glass of whiskey, which resulted in Elise giving him a weird look. "What it's on the house so don't worry." The barkeep said which made Elise laugh a bit before he started to drink the whiskey up. "It's okay dad Elise has some news for you that I don't think even you know." Lily said as she stood next to the barkeep, behind the bar, though there wasn't a lot of resemblance between the two of them, since the barkeep was a giant of a man with pure brown eyes and short brown hair. "Oh really, that isn't normally Elise's thing though." The barkeep said. "Well Uncle Ro, what if I was to tell you that Char is alive?" Elise asked, which shocked Ro, but only for a split second, as he then began laughing. "Honestly if anyone would be alive after being missing for nine years it would be you or your sister, you two really don't know when to give up." Ro said. "Yep and you know who we get that from?" Elise asked. "Who?" Lily asked back. "Our Uncle Ro, now anyway, why'd you want me to come here?" Elise asked to Ro. "I didn't, but the person sat in the corner over there does." Ro said pointing to the furthest corner, where Elise saw a familiar face said waiting for him. "Alright well I'll talk to y'all when I'm done over there." Elise said putting his glass down as he walked over to the person in the corner.

The knocking on the door had been silenced as Terry had finally come round to answering it while, after making sure the others weren't spotted as they went into the other room to hide. "Hello Terrumi long time no see." The man said. "It has been a while hasn't it Hazama." Terry responded. "Well I'll make this quick as you know why I'm here, have you rethought your answer to our offer?" Hazama asked. "You know that I have no clue where the magic academy is, Hazama so even if I did reconsider my decision I wouldn't be off any help to you." Terry replied. "I know that but you know where Elise is, and we believe he knows where it is, due to his friend Rin being a part of it, then again if you knew where she was that would make it ten times easier." Hazama stated. "Rin? And that is?" Terry asked. "Don't play dumb with me Terrumi, I know for a fact that you have met Rin, so do you know where she or Elise are?" Hazama asked. "Last time I saw him he was at that warrior academy thing, so have you checked there?" Terry asked. "Okay so it's clear you won't be helping us so I'm sorry to say this but this is goodbye Terrumi." Hazama said. "Alright well good... you bastard." Terry said as he hit the floor with blood now rushing out of his chest where he had just been stabbed, as this happened Hazama walked away and disappeared as a bolt of lightning almost hit him. "This isn't good." Miss Yuuki said as she was trying to stop the bleeding, but it wouldn't stop. "Rin can you do anything about this?" Charlotte asked, but Rin shook her head. "That blade he was stabbed with, it doesn't work like a normal blade, yes it leaves a cut or stab or whatever but that isn't what kills the victim, they die from their soul being removed." Mika stated. "And how do you know this?" Miss Yuuki asked. "That's one thing I can thank that stupid academy for, Blair warned me of a man named Hazama, as he had this blade at his disposal, how none of us know, but he just did." Mika stated, while no one realised Asuka who was now a ball on the floor in a puddle of tears. "What happened here?" Asked Alice, who just walked through the door and quickly went to Asuka's side not even letting them respond to her question she just pulled Asuka from her ball and just held her tight to her chest letting her cry. "Asuka, it's okay I'm here we can get through this, who did this?" Alice asked. "A man named Hazama." Charlotte answered, this caused Alice to start crying herself. "I'm so sorry Asuka, I'm so sorry but we can't do anything for him, so let's leave the village members to bury him, and we'll go get somewhere safe, where's Elise?" Alice asked. "Out talking to our Uncle Iroh." Char replied. "I'll go get him." Mika said as she vanished.

"So then Jen, how you been?" Elise asked as he sat down at the table Jen was out. "Been alright, how 'bout you, how's Osiris been treating you?" Jen asked. "Not there anymore long story but anyway why'd you want to see me?" Elise asked wanting to get to the point. "Well I'm hoping my little bit of info from before helped." Jen said. "So that was you." Elise stated. "Yep, and more than that, for you since not only is Hazama over a thousand but, he's been lying to a lot of us, as he has been trying to get more and more people to join his little group, more and more people like Jackal who can fight as if he's trying to recruit his own army." Jen said. "That's why you brought me here?" Elise asked. But before he could get an answer Mika had her hand on his shoulder. "We gotta go." Was all she said before they both disappeared.

"Who did this?" Elise asked as he saw Terry's dead body lying on the ground at his feet. "It was Hazama." Alice said as she walked back downstairs. "Looks like I'm gonna need an easy way to get to that asshole, so looks like I'm in Alice." Elise stated, which Alice just nodded at. "Alright but for now we need to get everyone moved from here if Hazama was here." Alice stated. "But where to next." Miss Yuuki asked. "Don't worry me and Alice got that covered." Elise said. "So just go help Asuka grab whatever she wants to keep from here I'm gonna go find Terrumi's second in command and let him know what just happened." Elise stated as he turned to the door. "Oh and tell Asuka that I'm gonna kill that motherfucker for her." Elise said as he was now out the door and gone. "Alright you heard the man let's go help Asuka." Charlotte said, which everyone nodded and went upstairs to help Asuka, except Mika who went to Elise's old room to grab the last few pieces of clothing he left in there, as she did that she came upon something she didn't expect, a photo of Elise's but it wasn't exactly of his family, it was of him, Asuka, His Uncle Iroh, and her from the one time they had time off in the city.
