The Invitation

"I still can't believe that Gramps gave you that much just to buy clothes." Elise said while carrying a few bags of clothes out of the shop. "I don't understand why he gave me that much either but I didn't spend it all so we still have some of the money from it left over." Miss Yuuki said while carrying a few bags as well. "Smart thinking there." Elise said just before he bumped into someone and knocked them over but luckily Elise realized just before they hit the ground and caught them. "Oh crap are you okay there?" Miss Yuuki said in a sudden panic as she thought the person hit the ground. "Yes I'm okay, thank you for catching me." The person said, while Elise helped them stand up before he walked off. "Elise wait up, I'm sorry about him but I will have to take my leave as well so sorry." Miss Yuuki said before dashing off after Elise. "Shit." The person said under their breath as Miss Yuuki dashed off. 

"Hey what was that about Elise you just left while she was apologizing." Miss Yuuki said as she caught up with Elise. "That person knows me, or at least who I was and I don't want the rest of the people she lives with to find me." Elise said back in his standard tone but he seemed more pissed off than usual. "Okay but how bad could it be if they find out that you was here?" Miss Yuuki asked but she didn't get an answer or even a reply from Elise the rest of the walk back.

When the two ended out back to their house they was greeted by Hazama and Max waiting by the door. "Glad to see we didn't have to wait so long now isn't it Max?" Hazama asked with his normal friendly tone. "Yeah I guess that's a good thing, however the walk here wasn't."Max said looking at Elise as if to ask how do you do this all the time. "Anyway, Elise you are probably wondering why we are here?" Hazama asked and Elise just walked past him still pissed off from earlier, but he still turned around after opening the door to say "Well come in then if this isn't just a friendly visit." Before walking into the house himself.

When the four of them entered the house Elise took the bags from Miss Yuuki and went and put them down in his room before joining the rest off them at the table. "So then why are you here Gramps?" Elise asked wanting to get straight to the point since even now he was pissed. "What's got him om edge?" Max asked Miss Yuuki. "Something to do with someone who we ran into." Miss Yuuki replied which instantly got the attention of Hazama. "Elise who did you run into?" Hazama asked while dropping his friendly aura and replacing it with his serious one. "Someone who didn't see my face so hopefully doesn't know it's me, but anyway why are you here Gramps?" Elise asked bringing the conversation back to where he wanted it to be. "Yeah so when I was on my shift this girl with pink hair came in and handed me these two invitations to that combat school that is just on the outside of the wall." Max said while being really hyped up over it. "You mean that place you tried to get into?" Elise asked Max. "Yep." Max asked but in quite a soft tone compared to what they normally had. "Why so sad you are the only one who tried to get in to there, so shouldn't one of those be for you?" Elise asked, but Hazama should his head as a response. "Then who are they for?" Elise asked. "Well one is for you Elise." Max said. "And the other is for our new friend Miss Yuuki." Hazama said which caused both Elise and Miss Yuuki to enter a state of confusion. "How could that be, I've never even heard of that school?" Miss Yuuki asked. "I don't know how you have come to be invited in but I do believe you know about the school at least Miss Yuuki." Hazama said which confused Max, but Elise know what Hazama was on about. "You don't need to keep that from the people in this room, Jackal however its a good idea to keep it from him." Continued Hazama. "Am I the only one who is confused right now?" Asked Max. "Yes you are, but still Gramps is right you can trust us." Elise said which calmed the nerves that were going through her then. "O-okay I do know off that school butt I don't know why I would get invited to it because I don't fight." Miss Yuuki said opening up a little more to the others. "Well either way I think it's rude to not accept an invitation so I think we should at least check it out Rose." Elise said while looking at Miss Yuuki. "As much as I agree with the fact that you don't turn down an invitation something about this just seems off, it might have something to do with who you had a run into." Hazama said still in his serious tone. "Hazama, shut the fuck up about that, and this definitely not related to that because they wouldn't reveal themselves to a combat school let alone this one." Elise said while now being extremely pissed off at Hazama. "Well then if you think it's fine go ahead and accept the invitation but if you do run into trouble there you are on your own because I can't risk the others being found out about." Hazama said as he was getting up to leave. "I'm sorry Hazama but I don't agree with that, if they run into trouble then I will run right after them into it." Max said making Hazama stop still and just look at the three of the. "Suit yourself then Max." Was all he said as he left. "So then should I see if you could come with us then Max?" Elise asked to Max. "Could you really?" Max asked back. "It says that we both can have a plus one to stay around but not take part in lessons so yeah it should be fine."Elise replied with, which got Max so happy that they hugged Elise. "Sorry I didn't mean to hug you." Max said after letting go of the hug. "It's fine, how about you stay the night Max." Elise said which surprised both Max and Miss Yuuki as both of them are used to Elise being a lot less friendly than he seems to be right now. "Really could I?" Max asked even through the shock, which got a simple nod from Elise as he walked to his room and grabbed a blanket and a pillow and went to lie down again the wall. "Why aren't you lying down on your bed Elise?" Miss Yuuki asked as Elise has once again confused her. "You two are guests so you can use the bed for the night and tomorrow we start getting stuff ready fro us to leave." Elise said and both Max and Miss Yuuki nodded to him and went into his room to sleep so they could be up early to get stuff ready for the move.
